No other work that has ever been done on my house is as fine as that ********************* performed from Handyman Hub. He fixed burglar alarm sensors to my doors so that they won't fall off and set of the alarm in the middle of the night; he painted exquisitely around my front door after cement work had been done; he eliminated the space under *************** under which rainfall and debris entered the house; finally he did magnificent drywall work on a busted inside wall that suffered damage before cement work was performed outside the house. He's the hundred point man. The King should Knight him.

This was the worst handyman service we have ever had--overpriced, but more importantly, very poor craftsmanship. We had just a few things to be done at one of our rentals and the guy they sent was totally inept! He did a lousy job on the calking of baseboard molding, getting it on the floor and the wall surface. He was to **** the bathtub, and said he found a shower leak at the head--first he said he would need to tear out the wall, then he said he would just apply plumber's tape and see if that might fix it. My husband had to call him trying to get an update, and he never called back to let us know if the tape fixed it. At this point we are waiting to hear back from our tenant as far as what he did. Also, the window shade he picked up for us and hung appears too short, but he hung it anyway. Unknown to us the bid did not include the materials, but we were never told this. So over $600 later, my husband (who is disabled) is going to have to go out and clean up his work. We will never, never use this company again! Even one star is too much for this company!

This is the reason why many, if not most, home repair companies will not work for landlords, who typically do not want to be bothered to go to their rental and handle the business themselves but leave it up to the tenant. The lack of communications between tenants, landlords and service providers is leaving the service provider on the hook for any miscommunication possibly resulting in being trashed online. You snuck in under our radar. Had we originally known you were a landlord we have not accepted the work order either because of issues just like this. We have reviewed the photos of the completed work and we find it is very good work with all areas clean. Your tenant signed for 5 small projects to be done for a price not to exceed $616. All work was completed, and your tenant signed off accepting the work. You were charged $560 for our labor and $46.11 for materials. Even with the cost of materials it was still below the $616 agreed to. The blinds do go all the way to the bottom of the door window and whoever put in the original work order was told that materials are not included in our bids and the contract, that your tenant signed, says in very large bold letters Materials Not Included and your tenant said they would contact you about the leaky shower head. We appreciate you contacting another provider for your future repairs on one of your rentals.

Thank you for your response! If you call what we witnessed good work, then we definitely differ in our opinion of what good work is. So. . . . .since you don't want to work with us anyway, we will not call your company again and go back to our regular handyman who does exceptional work. Thank you!

Awful, abysmal, overpriced and impossible to take serious. ****, who they term to be a "craftsman" and who prepared the bid is anything but knowledgeable and would more aptly be considered a joke.AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE NOT FIRST OBTAINED PRIOR BONA-FIDE ESTIMATES AT YOUR OWN PERIL!To Wit, Handyman Hub was contacted by me to get a bid for laying CoreTek Luxury Vinyl, already provided by me, on the main level in the adjacent area's of the laundry room, the 1/2 bath powder room and the wet-bar area.First, let me begin by saying that **** told me they would be removing the toilet and asked me if I wanted to use the same one or a new replacement toilet. ****'s bid stated the exact opposite.Second, I told **** that I wanted the old ******************* "removed" covering a very small area in the laundry room to which he replied they wouldn't be able to and could only place it over the existing ****. This baffled me because I spoke with 5 different flooring contractors and it was no problem.Anyway, their estimate was in orbit and is accurately restated as follows:LABOR ESTIMATE: TYPICAL COMPETITION ESTIMATE: $1,049.00 GROSS ESTIMATE NOT TO EXCEED: $980.00 AND AS LOW AS $820.00 The high-side of the other bids did not exceed $600 max.Last, when I asked for copy of his bid, he said I'd need to take a picture even though there were multiple paper copies readily available. Also and just an fyi, our initial meeting was supposed to be last Saturday which said was not the best date for me. To no avail getting an alternate date, i stuck with the Saturday appointment just to have them call me at the last moment saying they needed to change it.In short, this company in my opinion has long ceased to truly give a **** about what's best for the customer and is instead, only out for the money. IT SHOWS!!!

WE WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OLD FLOORING REMOVED BY ANYONE BUT AN ASBESTOS MITIGATION COMPANY. THIS COULD BE A MAJOR HEALTH RISK TO YOUR FAMILY.We are baffled why you wrote such an angry, hostile, insulting review. While you may believe that our craftsmen **** is incompetent, he was looking out for your safety. He recognized that your old floor should just be covered with the new floor and not torn out because of the likelihood that it contained asbestos. It is almost unbelievable that none of the 5 flooring companies you say you talked to for this small job knew that asbestos exist in most of the soft floor covering used in the 70s when your home was built, and that it should be left undisturbed. In fact, manufactures did not stop putting asbestos in floorcoverings until ****. If the old floor is covered with new LVT the asbestos poses no health risks to the occupants. If it is disturbed or removed the area would have to be completely contained and asbestos mitigation measures would need to be employed by an asbestos mitigation company. If this is not done correctly asbestos fibers can float around inside the home forever and are considered a major health risk by the Federal Government.Regarding our price, you only have to ****** how much does it cost to install LVT floor tile to see that there is a wide range of pricing but that our price was in no way out of line especially when you include removing and re-installing a toilet. Our craftsman **** is a very experienced and knowledgeable craftsman who has been with our company for many years and has hundreds of very happy costumers. A lesser experienced craftsman may have been happy to tear out your old floor, exposing your family to a major health risk.
