Absolutely worst customer service there is I ordered a *********** rifle on 30
Sept 2022. After 14 months of waiting the price went up and he no longer is a dealer for FirstLine Professionals. Nathan requested for a $250 Venmo payment for a deposit which I thought that was just truly odd. After hearing what the price went to I request my money back. My request for my money back is being refused. Which only gets worse the Nathan starts cursing at me, and ultimately hangs up on me. If he is willing to treat a Active Army soldier this way, I could only image how he treats others.

    Hello,

******** contacted me last year to find him a very high demand/low supply rifle.  Originally it was part of a special program called IOP for LE/military and offered at a very low price as it involved a credit back to dealers. After ordering,  *********** ended this program as well as raised their prices on all firearms.

Because this rifle would take time, money and effort to source, I asked for a $250 deposit which ******** paid.

After *********** ended their IOP program, I explained that the price went up but I would still work to find his rifle.  ******** understood and stated that he still wanted the rifle at the higher price.

After finding his rifle and making it available to him he stated that he wanted to cancel and demanded his $250 back and he offered no reason why he changed his mind.  I put a lot of work and money into sourcing the rifle.

He called me and was rude and demanding and made threats to give me bad reviews, contact the BBB and have all of his online followers ("hundreds of thousands") write me bad reviews if I didn't refund his deposit.

Even after this, I gave him until 12/15/2022 to arrange for the shipment and payment of his rifle and he stated that he didn't want it.  I have his rifle and I'm willing to complete our original deal for a more than reasonable amount of time.

I've never kept a deposit before, and have no desire to, but the deal was the deposit was a partial payment for the rifle he asked me to find.

Further, I gave him an awesome deal, this rifle retails for $2,527 and due to low supply/high demand, true value is close to this price and I offered it at $2,075, well below true market value for this rifle (*********** # **************).

I have more supporting documentation so please let me know what else you need.

    Respectfully,
    Nathan

I am rejecting this response because:

After being cursed out by Nathan and being treated with the worst customer service I wouldn’t do business with the company ever again.   After being treated in such a manner I would just like to get my deposit back and never have to deal with the company.

    Regards,

    Business Response

I treated this customer fairly and respectfully during the entire process and I have been working hard to come up with a reasonable solution that is fair to us both.  I'm willing to complete the original deal or let him apply his deposit as an in-store credit on anything else and I will ship to him or his local preferred FFL (if a firearm).

I was never rude or disrespectful to this customer but when he called me and wouldn't stop yelling and making threats and demands, I firmly told him not to raise his voice as I was trying to reach a reasonable solution that was fair to us both, a solution that took into account his deposit and the time I spent working to find his rifle.

I am still open to any reasonable proposed solution made by this customer or the BBB staff/committee but please take into account that I spent a lot of time, money and effort to find the rifle this customer asked me to find.

Please add, evidence that the price was agreed on prior to me finding the rifle for the customer.

I just read his original complaint and didn’t think to add this before but the customer is not being honest.

Also, this rifle is not part of Springfield’s new Firstline program, so there is no discount price available.

    Respectfully,
    Nathan

I am rejecting this response because:

Nathan look don’t try and church anything up saying you did a lot of sources AKA doing your job.  You had to make 1 phone call to *********** to get my rifle under the iOP program for military and firstline leaders.  Wondering why *********** won’t give you the ability to be a firstline dealer 1 answer you lack professionalism.  You’re  apart of a business when a customer no longer wants to buy from you and doesn’t want what your selling it is your responsibility to refund there money for items not receiving.  The fact that your still trying to respond to this messaging from BBB and not refunding my money only proves your company is very shady and doesn’t do the right thing.
