Me and my husband stayed at ******************* of the tvs worked, the wifi was terrible, there was mouse f**** all in the silverware drawers & in the pots and pans. All of these things were horrible, but what got me was there was this employee that showed up on two separate occasions, and she walked right in the door without knocking and asked me all kinds of weird questions. She acted as though I was not supposed to be here or something. It was really rude and inappropriate. The second time she came, she told me that check out was at 1pm the next day, but that I should probably try to leave earlier than that because they need to clean! Um no, thats not my problem. The man she was with told me I should probably clean up the house myself. I mean, what kind of nonsense is that? I felt like they were harassing me. Dont just walk in the door and treat me like Im some low life that doesnt belong here. This place is a sh*t hole, Ive stayed in gorgeous hotels in *****, ***********, and *****. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The morning we were supposed to leave, some strange man just walked right in again without knocking. Im pretty sure thats illegal. This literally happened to us like five or six times. People just randomly coming in the door without knocking. It made me feel really uncomfortable, because I have PTSD and social anxiety. My friend said I should file a police report, but I dont like talking to cops. When I called to say something about the people walking in, they said its because it was supposed to be a community area, but that was simply not the case, we were told we would have the entire house to ourselves. Not to mention, none of the employees have any kind of name tags or shirts identifying that they even work there. Im so happy my husband was there when the strange man came in on the last day. This place was a total joke. Cottonwood Hot Springs is nice, but it has gone down hill too. I dont think we will be coming back here.
