    found a website that looked legitimate online for selling ammunition. I made a purchase and they contacted me via text for payment. payment was to be made as a friend and not a business purchase. I did not do that, but I was still dumb enough to send the payment. as a purchase of goods. The texter complained and asked me to cancel the purchase, but alas Venmo will not allow a payment to be reversed. it has to be accepted and returned. since hat last text exchange I have received no correspondence. no tracking info, no replies to my many messages, nothing. started a complaint through Venmo with no resolution as of yet.

    1) We have NOT sent them any money. I caught this fraud before my Dad made the mistake. 2) My family and I are attempting to find .***** M2 Ball ammo for my late grandfathers original M1 Garand (He fought in the Korean War). I have learned that the pressure curve in modern ***** can damage the M1 Garand.3) Dad asks me to help find him safe ammo, I find ******* and ****** being sold on "ammunitionstoreonline". My father puts an order in and immediately my red flags go up. 4) NO WAY to pay for the ammunition by credit card.... zelle, venmo, cashapp, etc.... 5) He Then sends me the **** sent to him which includes a phone number and then another "cashier phone number" for the Zelle transaction. 6) First number, the PO sender, went to ****** voice, a dead end. 7) The cashier number? Some random guy who "has no idea what im talking about".8) I then find 2-3 different phone #s online for "AmmunitionStoreOnline.com". NONE of the #s work. 9) This happened on 2/7/2023. 10) I called THREE more ammunition distributors. They all said "No Credit card payments allowed? SCAM!"

    Placed an order for M1 ammo 12/22/22, Made the payment as directed via PayPal-friends&family, Have not heard anything in three weeks. Keep my fingers crossed that my payment will be refunded, People like this outfit need beat down with the justice system.
