    Made appointment easily. Reported at agreed upon time. Cleaned and inspected two wood burning fireplaces. Replaced one the next week once received parts. Professional and efficient. Great service. Will use this company every year.

    I highly recommend Anthonys Chimney ***************** ******* was flexible in accommodating my schedule. He informed me of the price of the service up front. He arrived right on time. He is professional, knowledgeable, efficient and tidy. I will be continuing as his customer for the recommended annual cleaning. My dryer had stopped working efficiently, which was why l initially contacted him. The cause was an huge obstruction of dryer lint- enough lint to fill a large wastebasket. It was a tremendous fire hazard. I will be recommending to friends and neighbors 1) that they have their dryer vents cleaned regularly for their safety, and 2) that they use Anthonys Chimney **************** to do so.

    I looked online for someone to install a new chimney cap and within an hour ******* called saying he could come and look at the job. He said he could have one made, and install and replace another one that was installed incorrectly. He said he needed a deposit and would call when it was ready to be installed. He contacted us with a date, but then cancelled. He did this two more times. Then he said he could come either Weds. or Thurs. and I said Weds. would be better but he said we agreed for Thurs. (not). He later texted me that he would be there *****. around 1PM. Given that we have been getting rain in the afternoons in our area, I asked why can't he couldn't come in the morning. He said ' I think we should have a parting of ways' Best of luck. And he kept my deposit. I texted asking why he can't finish and was so upset with no reply. Sorry I chose ******* and will be contemplating our next move.

    We didnt keep your deposit . I have text that state that its best we have mutual parting of the ways because we cant agree on a path forward that makes you happy . There have been a couple of other chimney sweeps companies that youve worked with that you werent happy with either per our conversations.

    I stated that Ill drop off the  2 chase *** covers that the deposit covered and recommend you find someone youre comfortable with to install. Ill drop the ***s off on Monday and take pictures for the BBB.  I wish you all the best with your project.

    Run! Do not do business with this sweep. Not only did what little work he did need to be completely reworked by an actual professional, but he took my deposit for work and never returned. I had to *** him to get it back. Since have seen reviews showing this has been a pattern for him to take deposits and never do the work or refund the money. Save yourself many headaches and choose a different contractor who is professional and not a thief.

    We contracted with Anthonys Chimney Sweeps to clean out a wood burning fireplace. They were wonderful and very informative on how we could continue to keep it clean. We asked that we be put on their customer list to come out and clean annually. Based on our experience with them, we contracted with them to install a wood burning fireplace on our rental property in a garage. We told them they did not need to do this for months but by SeptemberOctober before the cold started. They mentioned they would have to buy supplies and we had no problem providing them with $1,200 upfront to pay for those supplies as we realized the supply chain was tough. September-October rolled around and they continued to put us off. November arrived, too much snow for them to do any work but during the week of Thanksgiving the weather will be great, they will come out and do it. No show. After emails back and forth, they agreed to refund us our $1,200, which we provided them in the summer. The check arrived, we cashed it and it was returned NSF. We reached out, asked that they replace the check with either cash or a money order, and gave them until after Christmas (2 weeks) to rectify it. We still have not received a response and find ourselves in the position of having to write this review.If you work with this company, DO NOT give them any money upfront and make sure to do your due diligence and research them. There are other reviews out there like ours. We thought going through Home Advisor, they would have been vetted, but it appears not. When you take someones money and do not return it that tells me a lot about their character.
