    This was my wife and I's first time working with **** for the 2023 tax season and the experience was lacking from the beginning. He was late to our consultation and neglected to delve into anything personal with the consultation, not even introducing himself to my wife.Those issues are minor, however, when compared to the HUGE issue we had:We ended up owing the *** money this tax season (roughly $8,000 Federal) and I specifically told **** that I would take care of the payments. I had some trouble with the *** website and sent **** an email asking for some guidance on where to find our account balance. He took that email as a go-ahead to issue the payment of our balance in full, without even asking for clarification. (He already had our routing and account information due to receiving a smaller amount on our state returns.) When I called him to ask what was going on he said "Well, we can't go back now." The next day, the payment left my account.Long story short, I consider this a very large problem and I do not recommend **** as a CPA.
