      I was paying out of pocket and had called ahead to get prices. I had a laceration that I thought required stitches but after paying up front $350 I ended up not needing stitches. They asked me to come back to remove the gauze a few days later and quoted me $50 for that visit. I asked for an itemization of what was performed and they gave me a receipt with one code on it and the price. I asked again for an itemization and they said that paper is all they could give. I asked to dispute the amount because stitches weren't needed and they refused. I came back for my 2nd visit and paid the quoted price of $50 they provided, it was not necessary for me to come back because it was just gauze that had been removed but the doctor told me to come in, I was comfortable with the price so I came in. A month later my card was charged an additional $130. No one at the office told me this was going to be charged to my card. I called the office to ask why this charge was debited and they referred me to their billing ***** I asked to remove my card from their file and they said I would have to come in and sign a paper and they would put a $100 hold on my card in case any other charges occur. I called their billing **** and they said they would send for review, which can take 45 business days. So far I've paid $530 for their services. I definitely should not pay anymore than the quoted $50 for the 2nd visit and should be refunded the $130 that was charged without my knowledge and it shouldn't take 45 business days for their team to review. I also should be able to remove my card from their system without a $100 hold. Secondly I would like to pay a fair price for the initial visit for the laceration that did not require stitches.
