Very poor service and communication with Customers. Had my son's vehicle for two weeks claiming that they couldn't figure out the issue. . Supposedly fixed the problem. The vehicle ran for three days before having the same issue. Took the vehicle back. Got the vehicle back again with the same problem. Was told that fuel pump was replaced and charged for it. Vehicle broke down again. Took vehicle to different repair shop. Mechanic at new shop stated that there was no evidence of fuel pump replacement. Fuel pump was replace at new shop and problem was resolved. Do not recommend First Rate Auto at all. It's a rip off

I'm very sorry that your son's vehicle had another problem. First off I would like address the accusation that we charged for work and did not do the work. I personally assisted my technician with the installation of the pump I personally purchased from my parts supplier so I can guarantee that the work was done. My company has always held to the highest standards for honesty in an industry that has always had a reputation of dishonesty. When it comes to vehicles time takes its tole, the industry considers a 10 year old vehicle "an old car" and when a vehicle reaches 20 year old it's now a classic car. Your sons ************************************************************************************** diagnosing, locating parts, and dealing with potentially multiple system failures that could all be related to the same problem because everything is old and failing. Unfortunately the parts industry only has certain parts still in production for a classic and parts quality has suffered in recent years but we warranty our work whenever an issue comes up. We were never contacted that there was another issue or we would have taken care of it. I'm willing to give a refund on that part of work that we did since our part failed. Hopefully the new shop was able to locate a better replacement than what we could locate. We tried to reach out to your son but we left a message and haven't heard back.
