We originally took our vehicle here to get our exhaust fixed. We had a pleasurable experience therefore when we need more maintenance done on our car we took it back thinking we would be loyal customers. Our second experience made me regret doing any sort of business with them. We had about three thousand dollars to spend to get our **** infinity qx4 fixed up in better condition especially with it only having ***** miles on it. We originally asked for a full diagnostic which was not completed before doing any work. we were called and told it indicated our struts and shocks needed to be replaced so we assumed they weren't lying and to go ahead and do them. Our car was in the shop for four business days when we were finally told we could come get our car and it was going to cost **** dollars later. After looking at the reciete I realized they had charged 350 per shock and 500 in labor and the diagnostic was never completed. So I called they said to bring it in the next day so they could complete it. After completing it they concluded the front axel oil pan and several other things needed to be done asap so I called and asked why they said the struts and shocks were a bigger priority than the axel. I also called ***** to get a quote just to see if I was wrong they quoted me **** for all the work. The owner of westsiders garage said she would call back. And she did where she ****** told me I was out of luck the work they did is already done and I'm just out the **** while my car is still broken check engine light on and everything. Thanks for ripping us off westsiders garage. So much for a loyal family owned business. Just because we're young doesn't mean we're stupid.

Hello We addressed and repaired your original complaint. Electrical issue.Your issue was repaired and a Combination Switch was replaced $129.99 When we originally received a call from ************** it was for an issue with his parking lights staying on. You had to physically disconnect the battery or it would drain your battery and you would not be able to start your car the next day. ***** had two other concerns one was his EGR valve and the other being an issue with his leaf spring. Weve spoke with *********************************** and his vehicle doesn't have either parts he was concerned about.Where we dropped the ball and accepted responsibility, was not having the complementary safety inspection. The technician had been assigned to the job and the service writer did not add the safety inspection. We apologized and offered you, to come in so we can do a safety inspection, not a diagnostic. Words and Term were mixed up and ***** the owner of the car agreed. You then came in, and we completed the complementary safety inspection. Along with a complimentary Rear Break Cleaning and Adjustment. $179.99 value, and at no charge to you, This was and hour and a half cleaning again at no charge.Your breaks were corroded, rusted and have not been serviced in years. Again it is a safety issue. This is when you added an additional request when you were here, asking the Technician, in the lobby, be sure and look at my suspension. ***** stated " check the suspension" my car is not driving right. We have tried to explain to you the condition of your Infinity. Yes. Struts and Shocks are the foundation of your car. Upon the safety inspection, and at your request to look at your suspension. Your Struts and Shocks were not functioning properly and needed replaced. This was very dangerous to drive your car is this condition. Struts and Shocks help with Steering and Control as well as stopping efficiently and safely. You needed your Struts and Shocks replaced for safety, along with several other repairs. You drive High Miles 114k miles per year as ***** stated. ***** also stopped in a few days after the repair to show a receipt from the previous owner of the car who replaced the struts last year and 114k miles ago.***** stated he is Driving the Mountain pass and dirt roads daily. He drive the Pass Daily sometimes 7 days per week. into **************** and back home. Struts should be replaced every *****k miles on regular wear as manufacturer suggest. You had 114k miles driven in 1 year. You also called after the repair to ask if we would match Amazon's price. Then, you called and accused us of over charging, comparing us to Midas. You Hung Up on several calls.I called ***** spoke w Manager who gave you the quote, and we were still $219.77 cheaper. as we quoted front and back replacement. ***** said he only quoted you the front. You and ***** requested an appointment with myself and the Mechanic who completed ************. We agreed and you did not come to the meeting. I have your old parts in my office and want to show you how they did not work and their poor condition. Also, I wanted to show you a video, on how Struts and Shocks work and their importance. You have called me, you have Yelled, Screamed, Disrespected our Staff and Threatened us. You have Hung up the phone many times. I have tried to communicate with you. You have declined civil communication.Simply put, You have an older car that has high mileage, its been neglected on regular maintenance and repairs. You drive high miles. Your car is not built for High *************** Terrain and Dirt Roads. You were in our lobby. You and ***** spoke with the Technician in detail, here in our lobby, you could have declined the service and repair then.If you did not want the Repair and Service, you should have declined the service. You had every opportunity to do so. We appreciate your business! We are a Fair and Honest Automotive Repair Shop.Sincerely Westsiders Garage

So as you were piecing all of your" facts" together so you don't look bad. You failed to mention that the original phone call that was made to us as to what needed to be done was not supported but any actual evidence considering even your staff said it themselves. The ***** originally asked you to check those three things while doing the diagnostic because he thought there may have been an issue. You also were never told anything about us driving up and down the pass etc until after the fact. So it seems quite interesting you using it to cover your story. Secondly I find it quite interesting your view on our lack of maintenance and repair when our car has been in the shop 3 time in the year we owned it to do just that. Not to mention as I tried expressing to your new hire mechanic on our test drive after you had done the work my car. That my car drove and sounded way better before you doing the work. And since you completed the work. we now have steering issues a broken axel and an oil pan leak that we're never previously mentioned. Neither of us were disrespectful until you proceeded interrupting us and telling us how ignorant we were to the situation. When in all reality I was calling to find out actual facts to what we paid for and inquire why our car seemed more messed up then when we brought it in. But regardless of whether you agreed or disagreed, it seems coming from someone who has worked consecutively In customer service for ten years your communication and patience would be stronger with your clients. When I asked your mechanic to go on the test drive I specifically stated I was not trying to say the work had not been done nor wanted a refund. Just wanted some answers as to why my car all of a sudden was falling apart. And why it wasnt until after being in the shop that all of a sudden our axel was broken. And as a certified mechanic why would you allow someone to drive it off the lot without explanation of how dangerous the axel being broken is or why you would allow me ***** and my four year old son to drive it off your lot in that condition. Considering all my questions were valid and there was no reason to be as rude or condescending as you have been since the day you became involved, you should.have communicated as well as at least listened to our concerns especially after us spending two thousand dollars at your shop. Not to mention, it took you two weeks after our car was released to us to be able to actually break down the work you had done before trying to justify it all on the internet. We tried to talk respectfully as adults but when you have ***** walk into a meeting with you and five others all having a different understandings. Then you proceeding yet again to imply our ignorance. Yes we did blow off the meeting because obviously we were getting no where. Obviously our business meant nothing to you as well as our safety. And clearly you cannot operate with any type of understanding or respect. It is ridiculous as a grown women that you cannot have a conversation where you listen instead of being heard. And that you have no compassion for the concerns of your clients. So if trying to put me on blast on the internet to cover your mistakes makes you feel more impeiror more power to you. I hope you feel great about yourself. And can live up to your own karma. All that being said I have nothing to prove to you nor was I trying to get over on you or even request a refund for that matter. And I'm so confident in my story as well as my facts I should hire a lawyer and take you to court. But that's neither here nor there. Just glad your satisfied with your business and repor regardless of whether or not your releasing safe or operable vehicles.
