    I have been going here for years, she has altered dozens of shirts. Each shirt has had the same thing done...shorten the sleeves about 1" and bring in the waist. On 01/10/2024, I took a shirt to Magic Needles to be tailored the same way my other shirts have been done for years. However, this time she took the waist in, just like normal, and cut off the sleeves. I bought a replacement shirt and took the bad shirt and the replacement shirt to her. I asked her to compensate me for the new shirt and tailor it for free. She refused, she said that I told her to cut the sleeves off of my flannel shirt. I explained to her that all of my shirts are done tge same way. She made no offer of any compensation. I would have accepted in-store credit, but that was never a consideration. I won't go back. There are numerous tailor shops in town.

    On December 28, 2023, ****************** brought a shirt to my store (Magic Needles) to get his shirt tailored. ****************** is a long-time customer who has gone to my store before to have his garments tailored. The shirt that ****************** brought into my store that day was an old shirt that had been previously shortened by me a long time ago. ****************** wanted this shirt to be cut to a different length than its previous state. Throughout my years, my practice is to cut the length of any garments according to what the customer wants, this shirt is no exception. After measuring the length to be cut, ****************** agreed with the length. We set the date that the shirt should be ready for pick up, this date was going to be two days later on December 30, 2023. Then he left the store. ****************** came to store on the Jan 10, **** to pick up his shirt. He inspected it, paid, and then left the store. ****************** did not raise any issues about the length that was cut or indicated there were any problems when he picked it up on Jan 10, ****. I did not hear anything from ****************** until 10 days later on January 20, ****. ****************** came to the store with only a new shirt, and asked for compensation by tailoring this new shirt free of charge. I refused ****************** demands, since I tailored his previous shirt according to his desires; additionally, he never brought the old shirt that I tailored for him on that day. As I previously stated, I only tailor what the customer desires, and I do not cut and/or shorten customers garments without the customers agreement. Anything that was performed was documented and reflected with the pricing on the ticket of December 28, 2023. ****************** wants a refund of $25 which is the usual pricing for shortening long sleeves ($12.50) and bringing in the waist ($12.50). However, it is cheaper to shorten short sleeves ($10.50). That is why ****************** paid $23.00, instead of $25.00. After ****************** demands was refused, he was angry and slammed my front reception table and stormed out the door. Based on all my years of experience, I notice he is very meticulous on everything that I have done for him. If he had an issue, it would have been more reasonable that he raised awareness to any issues the day of pick up after his inspection. I will honor my mistakes if any were made; however, I will not honor any unreasonable request based on a customers change of heart after the work is completed.
