    Paid ****** 11k+ in May of 2024 for door/window project. They told us it would be complete late June or early July. After this, communication was non-existent. We had to reach out to them multiple times to get updates on our project and we received basically automated responses.End of the summer, ******* Krueger called and said we were on the schedule for the first weeks of October, personally assured me all the materials ready to go but they were behind on jobs because weather had been delaying all summer (the summer had perfect weather).The first few weeks of October came and went. We called, emailed, and texted relentlessly with no response. The front desk told us that ******* and ******* were in meetings every time we called. After threatening to call law enforcement, ******* finally got on the phone and agreed to meet with ***** meeting, ******* admitted that they never had materials, claimed all employees left them so they were behind. We asked for confirmation that materials had even been ordered, ******* showed us an email (claiming it was to a *** for the materials) that was sent ONE HOUR before we showed up for this meeting in late October.******* assured us they could start the work on November 18 and agreed to amend the contract to say the work would be done by Nov 30, or they would return our money by December 15.I emailed two weeks before they were scheduled to start on the 18, and ******* confirmed they were showing up. A week before the 18, I emailed to confirm they were showing up b/c we were going to demo our bathroom before they got there. A gain confirmed theyd be there. 3 days before, ******* told us they actually still dont have the materials.We asked for our money to be returned and ******* said they wouldnt be returning our money until December (even though it was mid November and they knew and admitted they couldn't complete contract).Still have not received money. ******* claims "check must have been lost in mail"

    No, this complaint has not been resolved.  ******* Krueger claims our check "must have been lost in the mail".  He claimed he would send another check, but never did.  He has also stopped communicating with us.  We have asked for a reversal on our credit card due to fraud and that was granted temporarily, but we have to wait 30 days for it to be final.

We have released the funds however, due to it being a credit card payment, the funds **** in limbo with their bank and the *********** We have done our part to let the funds go, however it is now up to their bank/CC to work together. Here is what we sent them both in the last review after our email communications:

    We sincerely apologize for the frustration this situation has caused. We want to clarify that we have been in direct communication with you regarding this matter and are actively working toward a resolution.

    As we mentioned in our recent email, we believed the refund had been processed, but after further investigation, we discovered that the credit card companys automatic dispute process caused an unexpected delay. We have provided you with a signed letter for your bank to verify the refund, and we are more than happy to communicate with your bank directly to help expedite the process.

    Please dont hesitate to reach out if you need any further assistancewe remain committed to resolving this as quickly as possible.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    ******* Krueger never sent us the first check (claimed it got lost in the mail).  Never sent us the second check he said he would.  Then we had to dispute this on our credit card to get our money back.  There was a 30 day waiting period for the credit card.  Krueger Brothers waited until the very end of that period and then disputed our credit card claim so we have been unable to recover the money from the credit card company at this time.  ******* claims it was an accident but its now been 8 months that we've been out our money.

    Krueger Brothers is doing very shady "business"

    Please see uploaded letter sent to Krueger Brothers on July 29, *********************************************************************************************** the back yard. I have a video of the rain coming down into the patio, but too large to attach.

    Hi from All of us at Krueger Brothers Construction,  

    We did receive the complaint from ******************************* Our team has been working hard on their project and we have completed the project and all the customers punch list items. (attached document).  We have spoken with the client and they are happy with the project and the completion of the punch list items. My brother, ******* Krueger, spoke with Mr. ********* once the project was complete, and Mr. ********* said that he would remove the bad review from our BBB.  We are waiting for that to take place.  We will follow up with the customer this week.

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can do on our side to bring our BBB account in good standings.
