On the 10th of June, 2025, I hired this company to make three attempts to serve some papers on a respondent. They advertise themselves as a 24/7 company and that was the reason I hired them. I specifically asked them to make three attempts. I paid $220 for the three attempts and report delivered same day. They only made one attempt, told me they stayed there for an hour and provided the report the next day. Why didn't they stay there for the two hours I paid for, or make three attempts in the one hour they claim that they were there for? They also put in several time limitations belying their advertising that they are open 24/7. For these reasons, I would like to be refunded $120.

We’re genuinely sorry this customer feels this way — but let’s set the record straight.

Our team handles hundreds of cases each week, and when this client called late in the day with a last-minute emergency, we pulled out all the stops. She requested a same-day attempt in Denver, and we informed her — as clearly posted on our website for nearly a decade — that the expedited rate is $220 to jump the line and get same-day service.

We dispatched a process server who arrived around 6:00 PM and remained on-site until nearly 8:00 PM, knocking repeatedly and observing the property. Unfortunately, no one answered the door, and no one arrived or left during that time.

The customer had waited more than a week after receiving her court documents and only reached out to us the night before her court hearing. Given that timing, there was no opportunity to perform multiple attempts — nor had she hired us for continued service beyond that day. The following morning, as promised, our admin team issued a notarized affidavit with a full report of what took place.

The client later requested a $120 refund, asking us to charge only $100 because no one answered the door. We respectfully declined, as our fees are based on time, labor, and prompt service — not the outcome of the delivery attempt.

We always strive to help — and we did exactly what we said we would: showed up fast, stayed for hours, and turned around documentation the next morning. We delivered in full, and in good faith.

I hired trailfinder *** on March 12, 2023, to help get evidence for a ******* case. I paid a **** retainer and signed a confidentiality agreement. After weeks of waiting the investigator sent an email stating he was unable to provide any proof about my situation. I have been recording the stalkers while driving for instacart so it's documented that I am where I am supposed to be but they are not. I asked the investigatior to help find the paper trail. He sent a letter stating he used ifared heat tech, wifi and blootooth tech. Just a bunch of hogwash. He then asked for more money in order to continue with the investigation. After I asked for a refund, that it was very clear that this was a scam, he reminded me of the confidentiality agreement that I signed. If I make a complaint or leave a negative review that I am in breach and he can **** So now I am in breach despite the fact that he defrauded me. I have all email correspondence and my original footage.

I am rejecting this response because:  I am being sued because I voiced my opinion and made this complaint.  The idea that a business would include such a clause demonstrates the intention to defraud.  Making it impossible for a dissatisfied customer to voice an opinion to the public, enabling the business to defraud other clients, cant be legal.  I am looking into this more fully.

    Sincerely,

Our contract does not prohibit a customer from posting negative reviews; it merely restricts the disclosure of confidential information while doing so. Clients are free to share their dissatisfaction, provided they do not divulge any information that has been agreed as confidential. The contract is only two pages and is intentionally short to make it easy for our clients to understand it's terms.

I haired rail finders to do an investigation in my home garage and car to find listening devices and cameras that were hidden. I was directed to pay $880.00 up front before anything could take place. I requested the contract because *********************** and myself could not get it sent through the phone, he said he would deliver it upon arrival for service, that never happened. We discussed on the phone what was to be done and the areas to be checked. When ************** arrived to do the sweep of my home, he brought a brief case in which he never used any equipment in it. He walked around my home just looking around. I know from experience this takes an EMF detector to pick up radio transmissions. He said to me on the phone that they would put the information in the computer to find out what his machine found...a printout would be given to me...this never happened either. He entered my garage that is shared with others and when I went out to join him I found him in my neighbors car. Once I told him of this, he completely exited the car and the garage and did not do a sweep on the garage at all. He then went out to the parking area and walked around my car and said I don't see a thing. I never received a printout or anything about his investigation.. After ************** left I felt like nothing had been done that we discussed so I stopped payment on the debt card that comes directly out of my bank. After that I get a process server at my door giving me papers for a small claims suit. In court ************** lied about about the contract and basically ran the hearing. My evidence contradicting the lies were never considered. ************** was awarded 3times the amount = ********. This was one of the worst business deals I have ever been a part of. I noticed on Yelp complaints that other women had been treated badly as well. There is a problem! then he garnished my bank acct. and took the last of my money for mortgage. Very dis-honorable business dealings, and he has done this to others.
