I signed up with Quality Connections Magazine in November 2021. the agreement was for (3) rounds of ads for 925 each total of ********. They broke it down into monthly payments and released an ad every (3) months. They periodically stopped in to show us the newest ad. In July, they auto-renewed us for an additional (2) ads without notice. They had plenty of opportunities to explain and give us information about auto-renewal. The contract does state auto-renewal, but it needs to be bolded or highlighted, and we have yet to receive a notice in advance. When asked via email, they explain they "assume customers are happy with their service and do not explain the auto-new because it is my responsibly to cancel if unhappy. They apologized for the miscommunication, but there was no communication about the auto-renewal process. They charged an additional $1,350 for (2) new ads. I felt taken advantage of by quality connections. They failed to give me notice and kept implying they "always assume customers are happy." clearly, they had done this before. If their customers were satisfied, they would correctly disclose the renewal process before automatically renewing for (2) additional ads; this is more about guaranteeing they continue to get paid for a service.Below is a list of requirements from ******** Under ******** law Section 6-1-732, Auto-renewal contracts state:(c)(I) "Clear and conspicuous" or "clearly and conspicuously" means in larger type than the surrounding text; in contrasting type, font, or color to the surrounding text of the same size; or set off from the surrounding text of the same size by symbols or other marks in a manner that clearly calls attention to the language. The notice must inform the consumer of the process for an automatic renewal contract shall send the notice at least twenty-five and no more than forty days before the first automatic renewal and at least twenty-five and no more than forty days before each automatic renewal
