    We called Mr ********************** to come out and look at an electrical problem. They fixed the problem and then told us that addl work needed to be done, that it was an emergency that our house was unsafe and that they would arrange financing for the ****** we were going to owe. The provided us with a company that we received a pre approval from and we learned later paid Mr ********************** ***** and then preceded to take money from our bank account. They have refused to stop drawing from our acct. Mr ********************** never even provided us with an estimate and when we requested one they simply gave us an invoice for the total amount due.

    At Mister Sparky Colorado Springs, we prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction, and wed like to clarify the situation.

    Based on our records, our technician met with the wife during the visit. After discussing the work needed, she approved the estimate by signing it and completed the financing application directly on her phone. We simply provided the financing providers invitation to help facilitate the process. Once the financing was approved, the provider paid us for the project. We also do some work on first appointments until power company shut us down because they wanted their engineer to get involve.

    After receiving approval, we began preparing for the job, which included purchasing materials, scheduling a team, and dedicating time to plan the work. These preparations incurred costs, including materials that cannot be returned and fees associated with the financing.

    To resolve this matter, we are offering two options:
    1. Proceed with the installation as planned to complete the agreed work and ensure your home is safe.
    2. Cancel the project. If you choose to cancel, we will work with the financing company to request a refund. However, we will require payment for the costs already incurred, such as time spent, non-returnable materials, and administrative work.

    I am rejecting this response because:My wife ***** asked and was told repeatedly that she would be given and estimate and the work would be completed before any loan with their loan company would be established. She was never presented with a formal estimate and after filling out a pre approval she was under the understanding that a decision on whether to do the work and when to do the work was to be decided. The next day the loan company contacted her demanding paymenet on the loan. Mr ******* told my wife before they could remedy the current situation she would have to have the whole breaker  box replaced. When he learned from his company that he could not get the right supplies he fixed the breaker box and solved the current situation. No further work  could be done at the time. Later on when we  asked Mr ******* for an estimate we  were presented with and invoice for $17,000. We are  happy to pay Mr ******* for the couple of hours he was at our house and for the work he did. We will not pay for any supplies  he ordered or  for additional work he did without our consent.
