      Thinking of signing up with *****************? DON'T! Like ******* and all the rest, they will start you out "low" and steadily raise your rates. In the past 14 month my bill increased 53% and I asked for nothing more nor agreed to anything additional EXCEPT to hook up to their "fiber" service for which I was assured it would save me money! Following years with them as Falcon Broadband, they moved to adding differing "tiers" of service and channels most watched during initial service were moved to higher cost tears along with new fees. Will change to "streaming" as soon as possible!

      ****************************, we appreciate you being a customer since 2007. Having been a Television customer for so long, we can understand you being upset about your bill increases. Increases in the cost of television channels are driven by the networks and station owners that own the content, not by the companies like StratusIQ who distribute it to the customers. TVOnMySide.com is dedicated to explaining these complex relationships that drive TV costs up. We looked into your account and see that you did request access to specific channels that were in an upgraded tier of service. Unfortunately, StratusIQ is bound by channel agreements that force channels to be in certain tiers. We do understand how this can be frustrating, but all TV providers are subject to these agreements. There are also passthrough taxes, fees, and surcharges that have increased. These also affect all TV providers. Our customer service has gone over and beyond what is reasonable to accommodate you, and you are already receiving discounts on your service. You can request adjustments to your service tiers in order to lower your bill. Choosing to move to streaming TV is an option available to you as well because you have the best internet service available through StratusIQ, which is our core business.
