  I asked AJ's Landscaping Services to renovate my backyard. It was a clean slate as I removed the rock from the backyard prior to him and his team getting there. I gave him a layout on Tuesday May 9th, 2023 of exactly what I wanted him to do. I let him know that I wanted to be able to walk into my backyard and not have to do anything but hangout, meaning no watering, no cleaning, no nothing. He initially quoted me $15,000 but seeing as my back yard is not that big, I told him I would not pay more than $7,000. He agreed to give me what I wanted and said he would be able to come in on Saturday May 13th, ******************************************************** the back even though I did not ask for them and red bricks even though I asked for everything to be black and grey. I started to see things I did not like and every time I went back there, he and his workers would get frustrated. The firepit was supposed to be round but he decided to make it square because it was "easier." My firepit and my grill area were supposed to match but he did not do anything to the grill area. I was told the breeze in the back would ****** like a blacktop so that my dogs would not ruin the backyard but that was untrue. He made a walkway by placing pavers on the ground and not laying them into anything to keep them stable. They did not remove the original concrete block patio and surrounded it with red bricks to make a patio instead. The patio and the firepit were unstable because they did not level my backyard. Overall, I am very unhappy with his work and he knows that. Not once has he tried to contact me to fix anything, only to collect money. He called on Sunday May 21st, 2023 (sounded drunk) to ask for money. He also came into my backyard on Mon May 22nd without my permission. I had to pay someone else to come fix his work and I believe I over paid him the first time for what he gave me. He recycled materials and tried to charge me extra for things I originally asked for.
