    This company was contacted to come out and see why a brand new fridge wasn't working. Took them a month to come which was Aug 16th 2022. They said the fridge needed a new compressor. Told us that would take 30 days to get one in. They came back with one a month later and did NOT install it. They said the diagnosed it wrong and it would need some motherboard and that would take another 30 days to come in. After 30 days I called them to see that status. Smoke to a ***** and he said they new nothing about it and that the work order was closed out as it was repaired. This guy argued with me. (real rude guy) I told him I had it on camera. He came back and said they made a mistake and they would order the motherboard. That took another 30 days. They came out this week and replaced the motherboard. ****** still don't work. I called Whirlpool they show this company billed them for all work. Work they didn't do or haven't done right. This fridge a brand new fridge has been down since July 2022. They have milked Whirlpool for money and have yet to fix the problem. We have now had to get a rental fridge due to this company's incompetence. Want it fixed.

    Responding to this complaint.

    APSCO is a contracted service company AMANA corporation. AMANA is responsible for scheduling this service. The scheduled dated for service was the FIRST AVAILABLE  8-15-22. The unit needed a compressor that was on a national back order status. ***** worked with both AMANA Tech Support and AMANA ********** to both confirm the diagnosis and acquire the parts ASAP. The part was delivered to APSCO and we installed it within 3 days of the parts arrival. When the part was installed an additional failure that COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ASCERTAINED UNTIL THE COMPRESSOR WAS INSTALLED was discovered. This failure led to the discovery of a manufacturing defect in the machine that CANNOT BE FIELD REPAIRED. That information along with pictures of the defect was provided to AMANA. ***** instructed APSCO to close out the service order and that the unit would be escalated for Product exchange. We informed a tenant named **** of this situation and that we had no further ability ot help in this matter.

    1 APSCO has NO ABILITY TO INFLUENCE scheduling for initial service. ******* scheduled the first available service slot

    2 APSCO has NO ABILITY TO IMPACT PARTS AVAILABILITY National Supply chain issues have impacted parts availability across all brands.

    3 Amana is fully aware of the changes claimed and paid for. That is a contractor / MFG issue and the Product Owner has no interest in this situation.

    4 A manufacturing defect that cannot be field repaired is beyond out capability to influence. Product exchanges and that timeline is wholly up to *******

    5 ALL communication we had was with *********** (tenant) we had no contact information for the owner of this product as AMANA did not provide that.

    I am rejecting this response because:


    They never replaced the compressor. I have cameras in my house and I have saved the video of him coming out to install it and the video shows the guy look at the refrigerator and saying this isnt a compressive issue. He called Whirlpool and was on the phone for over a *** an hr and then told me its a board issue and they would have to order a new Board. So this company mis lying about installing a new compressor. They billed whirlpool for this and claim they did for the money. I have video recording with audio if anyone would like to see it. This company is a fraud.
