    Baileys moving and storage extorted us for money to cover damages and replacement costs in the event their employees damaged our property. Baileys staff did in fact damage our property and the damage incurred exceeded the amount they charged for services. They are now refusing to replace the $4000 dresser they broke. They need to be investigated.

    Upon reviewing your account, we confirm that you selected our Full Value Protection plan with a $0 deductible. This plan ensures that, in the event of loss or damage, we are liable for the repair of the item, replacement with a similar item, or a cash settlement for the item's current market value.

    In this instance, we engaged a professional repair service to assess the damage to your dresser. The assessment determined that the dresser could be restored to its original condition for a cost of $1,350.00. Consequently, we issued a check to you for this amount, adhering to the terms outlined in our Full Value Protection plan.

    We understand that you believe the dresser's value exceeds the repair cost and were seeking a replacement valued at $4,000. Our policy, in line with federal regulations, allows for repair when an item can be restored to its original state. Replacement or full reimbursement is typically reserved for items that are beyond repair.
