    I hired this company to disassemble and haul off a weight set as I am moving this weekend and needed to have it hauled off. I paid the deposit and this company made a reservation to haul off my weight set for 01/20/24 between 8am-12pm. This morning this company cancelled my appointment via text at 6:55am. I tried to contact them twice by phone and they placed me on hold both times and never came back on the line. I then texted them on the number they had texted me on. Thirty minutes later they responded and said their driver no longer service my area. I responded and asked for a refund and they will not respond. This company was so unprofessional by canceling via text at 6:55am and taking my deposit and refusing to respond to multiple calls, emails, and texts. I want my deposit back as they seized it immediately from account yesterday and refuse to refund after they cancelled my haul off reservation.

    First of all I am sorry to hear about your experience. However, we do not take deposit. Also, we have never received a call or text message from the number you provided on your complaint to BBB. We would like to discuss the details. Please send us the copy of your receipt. Please go to your credit card statement and see if the deposit was paid out to Sherpa Guys. We are based in **************** and only serve **************** and nearby. Again, sorry for your experience but we do not have any record of you in our system.
