Lexus of Colorado Springs does not honor previously agreed upon terms when ordering a vehicle, demonstrating a lack of integrity, complete dishonesty, and disregard for the customer. They were not forthwith in their communication of policies at the dealership regarding this process. The general public is getting taking advantage of at this place of business and I highly disagree with their rating with the BBB. Customers need to be forewarned about this business and its practices. Extremely disappointed with the experience at Lexus of Colorado Springs.

We regret that the recent experience did not meet our guests expectations. We understand the concerns, and we want to clarify that the finance terms were changed by the finance company, not by the dealership. Its common for financing terms to change especially when waiting months for a specific unit. While the dealership can facilitate the financing process, the terms are set by the finance company. We always honor what we have control of which is the quoted price. Every customer has the following *********** Accept the finance terms available when the vehicle arrives.2.) Explore alternative finance options.3.) Secure own financing.4.) Pay cash.5.) Have their deposit returned. Ownership has reached out to our guest to further discuss the matter and is awaiting a response.

Lexus of Colorado Springs offered initial financing terms through Lexus Financing with their employee an agent of Lexus Financing and Lexus of Colorado Springs. We were not informed the finance terms could change upon the arrival of the car. Had we known, we never would given $1000 to the dealership in November of 2024. Our new vehicle arrived at the dealership in January and Lexus of Colorado Springs staff informed us the original employee of whom we made the deal with was no longer with the company and the financing terms had changed including the rebate and interest rate. The Lexus dealership staff were no longer willing to honor the signed agreement from November. We were lead to believe we had made a deal on the vehicle and we only needed to wait for the arrival of the vehicle. We have spoken with the ownership of this dealership and have given them the chance to make the deal work for both parties by discounting the new vehicle and/or giving us more trade-in money for our old Lexus. They refused to discount the new vehicle down from ****, stating if they gave us a discount, they would have to provide the discount to other customers. We recognize this is an extenuating circumstance and the owner needs to recognize this as well. We are not trying to renegotiate the deal, we want the deal we made in November honored and the ownership knows this information. If the BBB would like to see the signed document, we would be happy to provide it. We have no ill feelings towards the dealership or it's employees, we only want the initial agreement honored.
