Beware, I had a water heater go out on me, called ****, he came out to assess it. He took all the plumbing apart, took the heater apart, without turning off the main water line. he worked 3 hours @ 4125 an hour plus $150 dispatch fee, then left for the day. I cam e home that evening to running water in the house, imagine the mess. I called him and he immediately blamed it on me. said it was my fault since I had not called city to get it shut off. I was never told till then that I needed to, other plumbers always shut it off at the main in the house, I guess he could not figure it out. He then went ahead and said if I try and have his insurance pay for the damage he knows a lot of attorneys and judges and that I should beware. Since then I received a bill for 16 hr. of work, I questioned the invoice and he promptly threatened to lien the house. I have used a lot of contractors and plumbers, never ran across this kind of service, I feel scammed. I trusted his reviews, must be they are fake or he changed. I would encourage everyone to be cautious.

My disabled husband and I are almost 70 years old. We contacted ***************** of Excellent Plumbing Heating and Mechanical in **************** for an estimate on replacing our 50 gal. 44 tall hot water tank. His estimate was $1,950. Anything taller would cover our fuse box. He arrived late and removed our hot water tank, then brought in a tank that was obviously too tall. He told me I just needed to get on a ladder and use a tool to flip the switches. It wasnt until the next morning I dragged out a ladder. I still couldnt see or reach the bottom half of the fuse box. I could only see the top half if I leaned precariously over the plumbing and electrical wiring. It was an unsafe situation. The next morning I messaged **** asking what can be done about this. He proceeded to send me approx. 50 messages over the course of two days ranting and raving. I have kept all of them for proof! **** even said we should have the fuse box moved, a wall removed, base heaters replaced, new CO detectors and new electrical wiring throughout the house. **** said they were not to code. It was apparent he was trying to cover up for installing the wrong size hot water tank. Later that day I contacted a licensed specialist who came over and he said that everything was good in our house but the tank was not installed professionally and he would install a new hot water On the 31st it was replaced it with a better tank, the size that we wanted at 1/2 the price. ***** many messages contained ridiculous ******************** He also ORDERED me to send him information on the replacement tank, make and model, size, where it was purchased, who installed it, and pictures of the new tank. It did not take me any longer to realize **** was taking advantage of us and I could not safely deal with this man anymore. I highly recommend you stay far away from this business and not deal with *****************. The ****** cost me $1,950. which we could ill afford to lose. Dont make the same mistake. Please beware.

In response to your review I have some questions. When you refer to licensed professional can you identify this individual? Since it was removed on the 31st, can you provide an invoice? Since you did in fact mention in your email sent to us (along with pictures of the water heater showing the shelf above the water heater) and the fact that by your admission that there is a shelf that will need to be removed your words not mine! It clearly proves you knew the water heater was going to be taller. We asked you if the shelf, in the picture, had to be reinstalled and you replied no it does not . We also marked the height of the water heater on both the wall and the door trim in both ink and magic marker and both you and your husband approved this prior to the installation of the water heater! So if it was obviously to tall why then did you allow us to continue to install the water heater in clear view of both you and your husband as we had removed both the bathroom and closet doors to make this possible? You made no mention of the electrical panel in the pictures of the water heater that you provided and you intentionally did not provide pictures of the electrical panel or the surrounding area for that matter even though we asked them. Also it is in fact illegal to place a electric panel in a bathroom closet per the ***************** Code 2020 - ****** (E). All messages sent were in reply to numerous messages/texts you sent and were qualified as suggestions and recommendations. I also saved them as they are admissible in Court! The licensed professional you refer to, what is their name and phone number and are they willing to put it in print and sign their name to it? We installed the ************************************************************** spite of the fact that we did offer you smaller water heaters that were more economical in both terms of cost of installation as well as energy efficiency. Which you declined. In fact you insisted on having a ********************************** your review that on the 31st you had the water heater replaced and apparently want your money back I believe it is completely reasonable to simply ask for the evidence that this statement is true! And if so what is the name of the company that installed the water heater on the 31st? What is the name of the licensed plumber or plumbers that performed the work? How much did it cost? What brand is the water heater? What is the model number? What is the serial number? So that we can verify the validity of these claims and, of course, do you have an invoice or at least a copy of it?
