    I do not currently have heat in my apartment. I have brought this complaint to the property manager several times and nothing has been done. It is -4 in ******** and I do not have heat. The property manager is aware of my situation, and nothing has been done. Besides, a company came out a few months ago and took out my heaters but they never replaced them. It is freezing in my unit and I cant seem to get any help. My attempts to contact contact the owner of this property have failed. Please help me!

    Grand West Properties is well aware of the situation at this small one bedroom apartment and has been addressing the heat repairs proactively. Electric space heaters have been placed in the apartment as soon as we became aware of the issue and the temperature in the apartment has always been at a normal (approx *****) level whenever we have been in the apartment.  The living room baseboard electric heater was replaced by HPE last month and then, quite oddly, the bedroom baseboard electric heater went out.  The space heater was moved to the bedroom and currently supplies proper heating for the space.  HPE initially came out to replace the bedroom heater but found a possible electrical issue and now ******************** will be inspecting and repairing within this week.

    The tenant contacted Code Enforcement in early December but they declined to address the issue or open a case as the apartment was at normal temperature.

    We have been continually contacted with excessive phone calls, phone mail messages, text messages and ******** messages complaining of "no heat". There simply is no basis for this accusation.  This small 432 sq ft one bedroom apartment is a ground floor, end unit and as such has 3 exposed sides and a floor over earth.  If there were no heat it would have been unbearable and the tenant, who sees company personnel often, has never expressed such to us.
