To begin, we absolutely have not turned our phones off nor did we skip town. We still run our business out of the same place we always have and our phones work just fine. Obviously, both can be verified and we take exception to such blatant lies. Secondly, we are a General Contractor that handles all aspects of a job which very much includes subbing out work to specialized trades that our crew is not trained to do. This is a common, normal part of General Contracting.

We gave a few concrete jobs to the complainant as this was supposedly his specialty.First job was done incorrectly. There was immediate cracking in the concrete and the color and seal were not done properly. He would not answer phone calls or texts for months which required us to bring in another company to fix the mistakes that were made and redo the job correctly.

Second job was also done incorrectly. Complainant was to add drainage to keep rain and snow melt from running into the garage. He took months to do this and when it was finally completed, the water had nowhere to run. When he finally was made to drain it around the side of the garage, he took down the customers fencing which he was supposed to put back up and never did, he did not install the pump required and he built a grate over the drain which did not hold vehicle weight. On top of that, he cut or ground concrete with the garage open, getting an exorbitant amount of dust all over the customers property causing so much damage that we had to refund money to the customer and subsequently lost all other work from a long time repeat customer, who forbade the complainant to ever come back on his property.

Third job was also done incorrectly. Complainant poured a concrete pad that was completely off. It was not square or poured according to the architectural plans given to him. Once again, phone calls were ignored for months. Due to the fact that the work was done so badly combined with the customers perception of complainantslack of professionalism, the customer mandated that he will no longer be welcome onto the property. This once again required us to hire another company to fix these mistakes and completely redo the work.

Due to the fact that we gave him these jobs pretty simultaneously, we were unable to see his lack of follow-through and lack of professional results until he had already messed up these projects. At that time, it was thoroughly explained to him that due to the fact that we had to bring in new subs and pay for them to not only fix all of his mistakes but then to redo all of the work and that having to do so far outweighed what would have been owed, that he would not be getting paid any further. He was spoken to about this by both the project manager and the owner of the company. On both occasions, the complainant did not at all disagree with this resolution.

Many months passed without any communication from the complainant at all. One morning, we checked our bank accounts and saw that a large sum of money was scheduled to be taken out that we knew nothing of. Upon further investigation with our bank, we discovered that the complainant took our bank account information from a check that was given to him and used it to set up his own ACH in an attempt to just take money out of our account without our knowledge. The owner of the company called him immediately to talk to him about this situation and the complainant did not answer the phone. The owner left a voicemail asking for a return call which to date, never occurred and we never heard from him again. This all speaks volumes as to where the problems actually lied.

I don't even know where to start. I used this company on several projects. The amount of resources I've spent dealing with these contractors is unbelievable. They put gutters on a property that has foundation issues. They incorrectly installed the down spouts for proper drainage. They eventually corrected it. I finally got around to getting on top of the house as water is still getting near the home. I see that the gutters do not drain at all and water just sits in them. With all the rain, they've been overflowing right by the house (foundation issues). It's always a follow up with them. But my biggest complaint is a project where I paid them to install a drain in my driveway. I had to meet them 6 times to go over the same job. Then I had to be the one dealing with the subcontractors. When they finally got around to cutting in the drain, they had zero consideration for my belongings in my garage. Computer tower, all my gear, electronics, bikes, atv, tools, utv, and much more got covered in silica/concrete dust. I got a bid to properly clean my garage which was several thousand dollars. They tore down my fence as part of the work but left it out in the alley where my neighbors started complaining to me. The job was supposed to be done in 4 days at one point. It's been 9 months. I literally paid them to cause a bunch of damage to my driveway as they never installed any drainage. Now all the water just floods into the drain (that has no drainage) and then floods into my garage. The metal grates that they put over the drain aren't strong enough to support my utv, much less a car. So they're bent. The amount of time and energy with dealing with the contractors has been unbelievable. I was once briefed that the subcontractor agreed to come out the following day to fix everything. Then I got a call that he was in ******* (guess he didn't know he was out of state).
