I took my vehicle to Stehlik for a routine oil change. After getting home, I found over a quart of oil had leaked onto my garage floor and driveway. The same amount had also leaked in their parking lot before I picked up the vehicle. It was nearly out of oil by the time I returned it. The cause was an improperly installed gasket after the oil change. After re-doing the oil change, they punctured a tire when backing my vehicle out of the garage. They put 4 new tires on the vehicle but unfortunately I felt a vibration when driving it. Their employees drove the vehicle but claimed there was no vibration. They balanced the tires again but I still felt the vibration. They said they could not fix the problem. They suggested I get over $1000 in other repairs, but they weren't related to the vibration. They came out several times to clean the stain on my garage floor. Unfortunately a very large stain ********** routine oil change resulted in a huge stain on my garage floor and a vibration which didn't exist before the new tires were installed. I didn't cause any of these problems but the store manager treated me rudely when I tried to get the vibration problem fixed. I can no longer recommend taking your vehicle here for service after what has happened to me and how I was treated. I then took my vehicle to *** ****** Tire to get their opinion of the vibration problem. Their technician drove the vehicle and immediately recognized the vibration. They then balanced the tires. They found them to be significantly out of balance (4-8 pounds per tire) despite being balanced twice at Stehlik. After being balanced at *******************, the vibration disappeared. The owner of Stehlik had told me he would reimburse me for the cost to balance the tires somewhere else if it fixed the vibration problem. But he changed his mind when I presented him with a receipt from *** ******. He refused to reimburse me. Be careful if you choose to take your vehicles to Stehlik for service.

This is the response we posted 2 months ago on the Review submitted. He was a customer at Stehlik South, LLC in Fountain...

Response from Stehlik Service and Tire... I know that we have apologized several times to you regarding this situation. I also apologize as it was our fault. On 7/24/24 you came in for an oil change. After you received your oil change, an employee noticed the oil pooled on the ground where your car was formerly parked, as you had driven away already. We notified you of the problem and had you look to see if it was leaking...which you let us know it had. We sent an employee over to immediately start scrubbing the oil and used "Floor Dry" to start soaking up the oil on the driveway and garage. He came back again in two days to scrub more and to use a Hotsy Pressure Washer on the stain. After that didn't get the stain out completely, we paid a professional Pressure Wash company to clean it for $295. They cleaned it and mentioned that the stain was as clean as they could get it, and only with time, it will dissipate. They stated the stain was about 3'x2'. When you brought your car back for to us to correct the cause of the Oil Leak, we determined the drain plug gasket had failed. Our employee who completed your oil change should have noticed the leak, but he didn't. He has since been written up. When you brought your vehicle back for us to correct the Oil Leak issue, you stated you now had a steering vibration. Our Manager and Asst. Manager each drove the vehicle and were unable to duplicate the concern ie: they didn't feel any steering vibration. We then had another faux pas with your vehicle as another employee, a new one, accidentally popped your tire while pulling into the service bay. He has since been terminated. We felt so bad, that instead of just replacing the one tire, we decided to buy you all four new tires at a cost of $600. We purchased them, mounted and balanced the tires. Over the weekend, you texted you were feeling a vibration from the tires. We had you bring it in and our Asst. Manager drove the vehicle with you, and the Manager also drove the vehicle and neither time were they able to verify the concern. We went ahead and balanced the tires again. After inspection of your vehicle, we made you aware of the following issues with your car... Tech found the left front lower ball joint has excessive play (1-2), left front wheel bearing has excessive play (2), right front wheel bearing has excessive play (2) as well as the front shocks are worn out. Recommend replacing the above components. So, it was a bad situation on our employee not catching the drain plug gasket fail, and the other employee popping your tires. Our Manager is not a rude man, he was just being direct with you. We pride ourselves on our customer service. We have gone above and beyond to accommodate you. You decided to write a bad review and beat us up. This is not our usual service and we admit it was a "comedy of errors" with the gasket and the tire. The rest of your problems with your vehicle are not the result of anything we have done. I can certainly understand why you would not want to come back, but this is not our usual.
