    I took my Jeep into this shop for what I understood to be an estimate.According to the ***** any repair facility must provide a written estimate for repairs that will exceed $100 before any work commences. I wasn't given such a written estimate or told beforehand about any fees associated with the service. Instead, I was blindsided by a $200 fee when I picked up my Jeep. When I questioned this unexpected charge, the response from the staff was dismissive, essentially saying, "Sorry about that!... Credit card, please."I'm not a legal expert, but these actions are a gray area concerning the ***** So, I'm sending this incident for legal review to see if this is a violation of ******** law. If it does, I intend to file further complaints, possibly with the State Attorney's Office.The shop also declined to give an actual estimate for repairs, citing a suspected frame issue as the reason. However, it's unclear what diagnostic work, if any, was performed to substantiate this claim, which leaves me feeling that my time and money have been wasted.Given the circumstances, I would like to ask for a full refund of the undisclosed $200 fee and would like to immediately attention to this matter to ensure that Predator 4x4 complies with consumer protection laws.Thank you for taking the time to look into this issue.

    I'm sorry the customer feels he was blind sided. We clearly have a sign at our check in counter notify customers of a minimum inspection charge. His invoice has a detailed list of what was found during the inspection. ********** Motor Vehicle Repair is for "stock" vehicles. His vehicle is not stock it is modified in the area of inspection. Regardless I will call Mister ******** and offer him a full refund.
