      In March of 2024 Adaptive Mobility started work on my home to provide handicap accessibility in my home for my mother. The drain on the shower pools to the left before draining. I asked that they come fix the problem and was told that my floor is failing and not their problem. I then had another contractor come to evaluate my problem. During his inspection he discovered that the previous contractor had cut through the floor support to install the drain. A permit should have been pulled when any changes are done to the structural integrity on the home. Nothing was done to stabilize the floor after the fact.

      The project WAS permitted, which is verifiable on the PPRBD website (see screenshots). The water tank flooded previously, and severely damaged the floors in 2022.  When we checked last week with a level, we can see that the shower pan still slopes correctly, but that the house is out of level which is causing the issues the complainant described (see photos). The third party funding used on the project prohibits us from fixing homes in a “state of disrepair,” as this one is due to previous work and damage. IF a floor joist was mistakenly cut by the plumber (***** Plumbing & Heating), we still stand by our one year labor warranty and have agreed to correct anything that was caused by our subcontractors that pertains to the shower drain. 

      As of our visit with the customer on 3/25/2025, we have agreed to await information from the homeowner's new licensed contractor, in order to review their proposal and come to some sort of a resolution
