The task seemed daunting until we enlisted the services of Logistic Union Inc., specifically their branch in ********. In the moving industry, its common to face adjustments and surprises that could easily lead to additional charges. Recently used ***************** to move my granddaughter from ****** to *******. They in turn used Logistic Union as the carrier. On pickup they tried to charge $75 stair fee, already included in ******* estimate. We refused. On deliver they tried, and did, charge an additional $173, not sure for what. Being young and inexperienced our granddaughter paid it since they told her they would take her furniture to storage if she didn't. Run, don't walk, away from these people.Logistic Union Inc

Sorry to hear that you have this problem with us, as a company our main priority is to complete every single job on the best way possible. in our record we don't have any extra charge for stairs on pick or delivery or any reported damages on this job. Stairs on pick were include in the contract. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that *** happen on the job. We spoke with one of the big guys Mayflower and walk around quote was ****** spoke with this outfit. "We charge by the cubic foot not by weight so no surprises. We did the video walk quote came out to $8,000. They were more than happy to take a deposit. Scheduled the move they used Logistics union **** They called and told me it could take 21 days to pick up. When they gave me the date we scheduled our closing. Received a call about 10:00 on the move date. ****** tells me he googled my address and it was in ******. Funny it was a ****** address. So they were a day late as it's a 7 hour drive. They were supposed to have an empty truck, it wasn't so the called for another truck. I was supposed to have the whole truck. They arrived 5 hours later. When the 1st truck was full, the approached me to say I had extra cubic feet so it would be additional charges. I asked how he knew since his truck had someone else's stuff on there he couldn't give me a good answer. So got me in a bind now. They got done at 11pm since they were late. Fast forward a month. Called American Moving no word for 3 days called Logistics Union 28 days before the move date. They informed me it could be 21 days after the move date. I said I'm calling youa month in advance why can't you put it on the schedule? Told me it doesn't work that way. Seriously the cannot schedule work? This is absolutely moronic. Called American Movers to complain they informed me that wasn't right and would fix this. Got a call verifying they would load me on the 24th. Fast forward the driver called me, said he would arrive on the 22nd. I told him we don't close until the 24th. Told me they would schedule me 21 days out since I declined the 22nd. Again told tge I called and scheduled the 24th not 22nd. Told me we only have one truck going to texas and couldn't schedule it again until it returned ******. Called ******** Movers the customer service rep told me anything before 21days before my scheduled date if the 24th was aLogistic Union Inc

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all readers, we would like to share the real story with the particular move.when it comes to moving there are deferent policies that we explain to all our customer on the day of pick up and one of them is the delivery window as well extra charge that *** happen at the pick up or delivery (Extra item not on inventory, bulky item, underestimate items, more boxes, Shuttle fee, long carry, stairs, etc.) Logistic union Inc don't work with Mayflower, this move was book through American Moving Solution and we are the carrier who took over this job from AMERICAN MOVING SOLUTION. NOT MAYFLOWWER. For this specific move customer contracted a Full truck. As a company we understand that things happen or plan changes every second of the day, we send 2 truck to the pick up location, one of them was completely empty and the other one had a small job on it. The empty truck was assigned to the customer belongings since he requested a full truck, the second truck was there for BACK UP ONLY. This jobs was 7hr away from our location in *********. so we took precaution in case the customer had more stuff or bulky item that take more space in the truck, as a company we don't want to go twice to a job so our goals is to finish in one day that's why we took the the extra truck.Before and After we finish the pick up, we explained to the customer that it could take up to 21 business days to do the delivery, we had to storage his belonging for a couples of weeks since he was not ready for delivery at the moment of the pick up. Days went by and the customer call us to provide the delivery address, so we explain the customer once again that the delivery can take up to 21 business day, but we usually don't need all this days since we have trucks going to TX every week. and that we were going to work on his delivery to try to have his belonging there on the 24 (which is the day that he requested or a day close to the 24) we always tell our customer the truth and how things work, I don't believe that telling the truth is dishonest. However as a person I understand sometimes we want thing to happen on the way we want. Short story we delivered ******* belongings on the day he requested which was the 24th. no a day late we even try to deliver a day early on the 23 and ***** refused to received his belongings on the 23 so we wait till 24th to do the delivery. According to our records, the moved went great and the customer didn't report any damage everything was fine, until today 9/28/2022 that we saw his comment.As a company we try to do our best to maintain a Hing level of quality for our customer, however we also understand that we work on the moving industry and sometimes there are some damages because is part of the business, even though we try to do our best when it comes to protecting all our customer belongings, we appreciated all our customer specially does who understand our side of this story.t. h.

I guess when I called 28 days early to schedule and them telling g me I could be 21 days after the move date is acceptable. It is not acceptable to have yo call repeatedly to keep them on track. The mover only told half the story on his reply. Very dishonestLogistic Union Inc

We invite the customer to tell the other half of the story, As a company we did our best to delivery the customer belongings the day he requested and we did. When it comes to long distances move on the time of the pick up all customer have to give a day when they are ready for delivery and from that day the company start working on the customer delivery. specially does customer that have to storage their belonging for days, weeks, or months even years sometimes. This customer in particular call 28 days in advance to give us the delivery address and to tell us the day he was ready for delivery. As a company we tell him the same we did on the pick up day. This delivery can take up to 21 business day but normally doesn't take that long we going to try to get his delivery on the day he request or a day close to the day requested. This is not be dishonest, we were telling the true, we didn't promise the customer a day when his belongings will be delivery, all we did is work on the day he request and we perform the delivery the day requested. short story long customer is mad with our company because we didn't promise that his belongings will be delivery the day he requested when he call us 28 days before his delivery. this is the true.
