    IN feb. of 2024 i was searching of someone who could help me with my window ***** take on water and leaking into my finished basement. i called several businesses. after explaining what i needed i chose Mountainland Covers. they assured me they could help solve my problem. they came to my home and took measurements for 4 window *****. On 3/28/24 they installed the covers. I believe it was May ***** we had a thunderstorm with hail and rain. 2 ***** toke on water, one was leaking into the basement, we spent several hrs pumping out the water and cleaning the mess. We called Mountainland and explained what happened , they said they would be out to check everything. my sister called on June 11th they said they came out and no one answered the door but they looked and anything was fine. I called them the next day on the 12th and explained to the young lady that everything was not fine and id like to talk to a supervisor, she said she was the one in charge. I told her the covers were leaking and no one had came out . She insisted they had. (My sister and daughter were home and i have 3 dogs) I was told that the covers were custom made, so no refund and nothing they could do. I was also told that they never said that they would keep out rain. Since this time Ive called several times ( no answer) left several messages (no responds) I went to their address and found a warehouse with covered windows, through the crack i could see a table and chair and nothing to make the covers. No one answered . Ive been back twice with the same result. My total bill for the 4 covers is $1,668.09. They are not custom build, i have an 1-2 gap around all the well covers against the house. i went on line and read how they were suppose to fit and it said they were suppose to fit inside the well, they hang over the well. I want my money back or a tight fit so no water can get in. I have a video but could not download it from my phone

    Originally contacts Denver window well on 9/18 to order 3 standard heavy duty window covers and one custom cover. Was charged $847 for the 3 out if stock. Was told they would be delivered at the same time as the customer cover. They came twice to take measurements for the customer cover was charged $100 deposit. Here is where things go south.Recieved text indicating standard covers were in contacted them to remind to deliever with custom cover no problem. Get another text saying they needed to be picked up, called on 10/12again told covers will be delivered with custom cover. *****. Customer ******************** cover delivered and i was not home to accept or reject. Arrived home 10/20 to find cover was improperly fitting and very low quality and not heavy duty as advertised. Left voice mail on 10/21 received return call monday afternoon. I eas told tough basically on the custom cover and the other would be ready for pickup. Again not what was promised. I was told their finance team would contact me no call back. I asked to speak to a manager told none around. Called again 10/27 asking for resolution received text state they have not decided what to do. This is as straight forward as possible give me my money back. Never received any receipts or told the final charges in custom cover.
