I bought a 9 month old female toy Australian shepherd from this lady when I got her I thought a couple things were weird but nothing to worry about. We bring her home and she is scared at first which is totally normal for a first night in a new place. The days after she is still frightened and submissive pees when you go to pick her up. She paces back and forth anytime we let her roam the house and just has a lot of nervous behavior. Well two days ago I noticed the left side of her face was swollen just assumed she ate a bug and it will go away overnight. Well I come back from work the next day and I noticed that left side is still swollen as can be and she has blood all down her neck. I rushed her to the vet and they groomed the hair around that area to find an abscess that has ruptured. The vet told me it had to have happened when she was with the breeder due to the skin around and she now has to have surgery. I started digging into the original owners reviews and it was not pretty. The reviews ranged from 5 days ago to years ago with the same results of the dogs being terrified of people, gets sick after days and usually finds it to be worms, intestinal churning, how she doesn’t respond with care, and two reviews said their puppies dies within two weeks and she said “awww that’s too bad”. I also checked her ASDR registry and not one variation of her name or company is there. I called the AKC which they said they found her but for only one dog that is a mini Aussie. So below I have screenshots of reviews and her websites.
