We recently just finished a very lengthy restoration project with Taylor Built on a 115 year old home. Our mistake was, we started with a different contractor that just milked us dry and drug the portion they did on and on. ***** came in to essentially a blank slate...studs, subfloor, etc. ***** had his work cut out for him from the beginning...leveling uneven floors, moving walls, fixing janky framing, installing windows and more. I cant even begin to list all the work they did in this home...tons of exterior repair, new privacy gate, custom shutters, deck ramp, installing new flooring, trim, doors, ******************* paint, full kitchen install, 2 bathrooms, floor to (9') ceiling tile in a shower, custom geometric accent wall, built in benches...the list really could go on and on. I'd also like to mention that I am not the easiest customer. I am very particular with the way I want/expect things to look and I changed my mind more often than I'd like to admit. ***** was patient with all my shenanigans. If he said he was going to be there, he was there by 8am & you could always tell at the end of the day that he had been there by the progress made. He worked diligently with our local building department to make sure all the permits were satisfied & even helped us with things he didn't have to. I would highly recommend *****. Whether you need something small like a toilet install or a full home renovation.

We have an older model trailer-house and hired ***** Taylor to convert the bathtub into a walk-in shower for my 87 y.o. mother who can no longer step into a tub. They took on the plumbing mess left by previous contractors (water damage due to the tub overflow not being connected, leaky pipes to and from the water heater, mismatched piping, grab bars not anchored into studs, etc...), moved the toilet over, and fixed all the problems they ran into along the way. They listened to our concerns and made revisions as needed. They had a busy schedule, but worked with us to get it done as quickly as possible. Good communication. Love our new walk-in!

Taylor Built was the silver lining following interior water damage in a 100 year old house from a storm which damaged the roof and an insurance claim headache. They did a fabulous job while preserving the historic integrity of our home. Taylor Built went above and beyond to save the original woodwork. They exhibited gracious professionalism throughout the length of the project and were meticulous and detail oriented. The communication was good and we are very happy with the timeline and results.

I hired Taylor Built for a remodel. I gave him over half the total bid amount 2 months before he started. He requested more money he claimed was for labor once he started, which I paid to him. After another week, with little progress in the job, he requested more money to purchase the materials he had previously stated he had. I released him from the job, because I refused to give him more money. To state he's dishonest is an understatement. Additionally, his work is poorly executed; the shower faucet wasn't centered on the wall, the plumbing wouldn't pass inspection, and he installed the incorrect color of 2 components. This site wouldn't allow zero stars, which is my rating.

Customer agreed to the cost of the the job. Left the country for 2 weeks with no intention of financially supporting this project, the half upfront pays for material and a small portion of operations costs, my contract clearly states that material costs are not exceed 55% of total cost of the job. The material picked by the client was very expensive. No problem change order was issued, and agreed upon. With that being said, the job was half way complete, and half way funded.. I am a small company and don't have overhead, in order to complete the job the client was asked to provide a portion of the remaining funds so we can operate and purchase the materials needed to move forward. She fired me, said she was not going to pay for her bathroom to be complete.. unfortunate.. I have been in business for a long time everything was up to code, and correct, please provide proof of your allegations before slandering my reputation..

And for the record, the plumbing under the house was already like that ,I wasn't hired to fix the plumbing issues, I was hired to build a bathroom,
