If negative stars were possible then that's what I would've rated. Our party rented 3 hotel rooms for one night. A little past 11 pm, a front desk worker bangs - not knock, but bangs - on the door. A member of our party opens the door, confused, assuming it is a drunken guest. The front desk worker started to rudely question our member, stating that the room was not supposed to be rented out. My uncle stated his name and let her know that we had rented three rooms. The employee is clearly upset for no reason and threatens to call the police before heading downstairs. We go downstairs to show our receipts to the worker, but at this point, she is aggravated and yells at us. I ask to speak to her manager and she says she's the manager. So I ask for a full refund because we want to leave. She then says that she can't give a refund because her manager is not there. We go back upstairs and call the police and they record the incident. The hotel rooms were low quality and had bed bugs. However, our reason for leaving was the disgusting treatment we endured. I understand that the system might not have registered our stay or there was miscommunication between employees. Nonetheless, that does not concern us at all. There is absolutely no reason an employee should bang doors at 11 pm and threaten paying guests with the police. It's unacceptable. I will be contacting the hotel until we receive a full refund but I do wish to warn potential guests about this incident. I recommend other hotels to avoid our mistake of choosing this one.

Had about 25 family members book a night at this hotel for a funeral (10 rooms in total). They all booked in a variety of methods (Hotels.com, Travelocity, Expedia, direct with the hotel itself). All rooms, to include other strangers we did not know, were not available with the exception of 2 rooms. The hotel claimed it was due to a potential glitch in the system. However, when we all drove back to a neighboring town to book other rooms that were thankfully available, the hotel said they hear this happening in ************* often. Sounds like a business practice at this point - book as many as you can and keep the ones who booked at a higher price. Their customer service committed at the time to attempting to do something monetarily (like a small credit back to everyone) and provided their contact information. No one has emailed or contacted anyone in our group after several attempts to reach them. It completely ruined the funeral and separated our entire family. Poor poor business practice.
