    We reached out to Chance who we believe is the owner of Country Roots Design and Build. He was very communicative, went to our house twice and provided us what we believed to be quality landscaping designs and ideas for how he was going to landscape our backyard and sides of the house. We signed a contract and paid a 50% deposit for a projected start / completion date in August. We were delayed twice and started to get worried early September. I wasn't able to reach Chance at first, but eventually got him on the phone. He said it was delayed again but this time gave me a start date saying our landscaping retaining wall blocks were confirmed by the delivery company. That they had two trucks of retaining wall, most (not all) was for us and it should arrive the last week of September. ****** said he would start working on our property the week of September 25th. On September 27th, I reached back out to try and figure out where he was but never received a response. I continued to reach out constantly to his previously good Cell phone and business line. No response. I sent text messages and voice mails, no response. I even emailed him. On October 2nd I discovered his company's website went offline so his email was most likely also disabled. His company ******** page disappeared and I have not heard from him since. We want our property Landscaped. We're already a month and a half past the estimated start/completion time. It appears that we've been Ghosted and it appears that he has no intention of ever starting our landscaping. From our perspective at this point, he took our deposit and ran. At this point the landscaping needs to start immediately or a refund be issued so that we can finally get our backyard landscaped by someone else.
