****************,
I would like clarification on why you are upset please. It sounds like it is the timeframe for results that is the sticking point, which is not fully under our control. You see, everything we need to do to help claim the money for you is a court battle and we are subject to the court docket and that timeframe.
You hired us because of our expertise in this niche of real estate law. This seems like a case where we could have set better expectations on the timeline, but I would need a conversation to resolve that paradigm.
I have left a few voicemails and emails with no response, and I would like a chance to answer all your questions regarding the claim.
Also, we have never paid anyone for a review, nor will we ever try to skew any feedback that legitimately comes from our clients.
Sincerely,
*******************************

Good afternoon,
********************************************** was paid in-full for his portion of the funds per our signed and notarized written agreement. Check to ***************************************** was sent via ***** on 12/16/2023. Check made payable to ***************************************** cleared on 12/18/2023.
As this is an exact word-for-word complaint as his sister lodged, Asset Recovery, *** is inclined to believe this family is trying to circumvent the normal channels of law, by which we are bound. These are multiple complaints from clients that have already been paid in full and appear to be an attempt to circumvent the normal process of law in a manner of coercion against our company.
I personally explained this in a pleasant conversation with ******************** just a day before this was posted that we would need the Legal Personal Representative of the Estate of the deceased brother, ******************************** to contact us once he/she has been elected through the probate process. The number we can be reached is ************.
We are neither legally, ethically, nor morally bound to operate outside of the proper channels for paying the remaining funds due the Estate of *******************************.
Once again, any allegation that ******************** has not received payment is factually incorrect.
Since the funds have been disbursed to ******************** in fulfillment of our we consider this matter closed.Customer Answer

In addition it states I should have received $22,183.90. I only received roughly ****** it was my understanding the company's fee was suppose to come out of the full recovery from all 4 siblings. We were each charged individually almost half of what was recovered. This seems excessive and predatory to us seniors.Customer Answer

For confidentiality, Asset Recovery can only comment on ******************** claim. We would encourage any other member of her family or the duly appointed Administrator of the Estate of *******************************, to reach out to our office directly if they have any questions or concerns.
To address Ms. ********* claim, our records show that payment was sent to her via ***** on December 13th and her check cleared on December 14th. We have images of the cancelled check which we can submit if needed to substantiate payment. The date of her complaint is ******* 9th,nearly a month after she had already received payment. Therefore, any allegation that ******************** has not received payment is factually incorrect.
The amount was calculated precisely per our signed and notarized agreement with ******************** and is commensurate with industry standards given the complexity of the work, the uncertainty of successful recovery, and the risk involved in pursuing funds of this nature. We would be happy to go over the figures with ********************, if she has further questions. The number we can be reached at is ************.
Since the funds have been disbursed to ******************** in fulfillment of our agreement and our office has not received any subsequent direct correspondence from her, we consider this matter closed.Initial Complaint

We have had several of our contracts fall into unauthorized hands. The industry we are in is **** with fraud and extortion. There are people trying to claim they are the owners of the unclaimed funds in an attempt to obtain the funds by fraud. That is why we always send a notary to validate their identity. Only the true client would have a copy of the signed and notarized documents. However, a scam artist looking to extort money from us would only have copies of the documents. That is why we are requesting the signed originals.Customer Answer

Per the terms of our agreement with the customer, all funds were recovered and distributed according to the predetermined percentages agreed upon in writing. I received a letter regarding recovering money from my deceased mothers foreclosure of her home. This began on 11/14/2022. Asset Recovery **** received a check for $22,023.52 from ******************************* out of ***. After receiving the money the company stated that we want be receiving as much money as we agreed to. They first claimed that someone "beat ** to the claim", after telling them that I have the court order they changed the story that they are offering ** an insurance plan in case someone else makes a claim to this money. They are already receiving 40% of the disbursement and know they want an additional $4000.00. I explained that I do not want the "insurance". They are now wanting ** to sign a release stating they are not responsible for other claims. This was supposed to be emailed to me two weeks ago. We have not received an email and yes I checked my spam. This company is clearly scamming people. I did my ********************** the BBB and various reviews. BBB has shows them with an A+ rating and they advertise that on the mailer. At this point we are not receiving any information regarding our money.Business Response

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for forwarding this to our attention.
I have reviewed the documents ****************** sent. See attached.
The documents provided are all dated February 11, 2022. We have no such records that any documents were sent to our office by ****************** in February of 2022. The sale date for the property in question did not occur until 3/2/2022. It would have been impossible for ****************** to have contracted with our company to recover funds before the sale had even occurred which is before the funds would have existed.
A closer look at the documents shows that none of the documents were notarized. The 2nd page of the Contingency Fee agreement is signed by ****************** but not notarized. The Affidavit for Collection is also not notarized, and the ************* of ******** is missing the 2nd page which is the notarization page. Due to identity theft, Asset Recovery never accepts documents that are not notarized.
We would ask that ****************** produce a signed and notarized copy which would establish a binding customer relationship with our company. Thank you!
Sincerely,

Here are the true signed contracts. See attached.
As you can see they are signed, notarized, and dated November 22, 2022. The fake contracts that were given to you were all dated February 11, 2022 which was over 9 months before the real documents were signed and even before there was even any money to recover.
Whoever this is imposter is *** have intercepted some communications with our company. However, since they are clearly trying to pull a scam with fraudulent documents, anything they say should be dismissed since their credibility is complete ruined.
