    On April 16, 2024 i purchased a product from Kt4 performance. The product was a $580.55 cold air intake for a ****** On April 29, 2024 i received notification of delivery only to find no package when arriving home from work. I contacted the company and made them aware of the situation. After going back and forth with them they stated they had insurance on the item and once the claim was finished they would refund me. A few days later they claim to have my signature of receipt for the delivery with no valid proof. I was working that day so it's impossible. I don't think it's right or fair business practices to be responsible to pay this amount with no product. Their business practices have been very poor and they haven't helped me out at all. I just want refunded.

    **************** placed an order with us for an intake kit. The kit was shipped to **************** directly from the manufacturer on 4/29/2024. We provided **************** with tracking details and a website to track his shipment as seen below:

    **************** contacted us after the fact claiming that the package was not delivered so we reached out to the shipping company to launch an investigation for the lost package and asked them to cover the cost of the missing goods since we paid for insurance on the shipment. After conducting a thorough investigation, the United ************* Services sent us proof of delivery to **************** which also included a direct signature. According to the investigation this package was delivered to the customer and it was signed for by someone at the property. The package would not have been delivered without a direct signature. Please see the attached details that we received from the **** investigation team which proves the package was delivered and was also signed for. 

    We have experienced issues with customers buying parts and then filing disputes after they had been delivered in the past in an attempt to get the parts for free. With scams like this happening more frequently we have to be more careful and we take the investigations of lost packages very seriously. With the evidence received from the **** investigative team, we have to believe that these parts were delivered because the shipping company recorded a direct signature.

    We have already attached the documents we received from the **** investigation team on our original response. I have attached it here again. 

     

    According to the United ********************** the actual recipient name may very if the intended recipient is not available at the time of delivery. 

    The status of the package according to them is that the package was delivered and "left with individual". 

     

    We required a signature to be captured at delivery or the package would not have been delivered. The **** has a signature recorded for the delivery at the customer's given/stated address.

    I am rejecting this response because: if the package was left with a stranger at the wrong address, how is that fair to me to pay for goods that i do not have. If the signature is not mine, I'm not responsible for paying for it because the shipper left it with unknown person. This entire situation is absurd. I did not receive the product. KT4 performance hired the delivery company that did not fulfill the delivery to the purchaser, this is their problem and they're responsible for the payment or reimbursing.

    Still awaiting a refund from either kt4 or the delivery company they provided. The package was delivered to the wrong address and the delivery company kt4 provided failed to retrieve the lost package. The package was signed for by the delivery driver when they left it at the wrong address.
