You will be sorry if you use this bank. Since Sunflower merged with ***************** it has gone in the wrong direction. I used the *********** branch in ******, ********. I call the 3 ladies working there the three blind mice. The branch manager, ******, is no better. She has a talent of disappearing when I would visit the branch, refused to take calls, and wound not return my phone calls. I did email the customer service and President of Marketing, and never received any kind of reply. Everything you do business wise has to go through their compliance department which may take up to 2 to 3 weeks. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this bank.

Just wanted to share my experience with sunflower bank in ********. Recently, I tried to transfer money from one account to another not involving sunflower bank. That bank inadvertently pulled money from sunflower which overdrew the account. The money was immediately returned. However, sunflower then charged me a thirty dollar overdraft fee. After going into the branch and explaining the situation, the teller told me that it wouldnt be a problem to reverse the charge. He just needed approval from the manager named ***** *******. After he explained it to her, she immediately denied it. Didnt even care that it wasnt my fault. This is the attitude of this bank to their customers, nothing but contempt. **************** is secondary to trying and ***** the customer any chance they get for fees like other reviewers have mentioned. Please, look anywhere else for your banking needs, I know I will.

Holding check deposits so you look like you couldn't pay your bill for the month so they can add fees and try to ruin your credit. I've had to call them and say cash my check you've had it over a week what are you waiting on. Now it's a new game for *** they are pretending that they don't have my check when I have proof it arrived over ***************************************************************** but they had time to mail a letter stating all the fees for *** since they didn't get paid which is a lie.

Guardian mortgage. Great service on the front end from ***********************. But the service after the initial set up is all about fees...fees...fees. I thought **************** was bad but this company takes the cake with fees. My direct deposit hit one day late and my loan didn't process on the 1st of the month. $150 fee. Not, $25 and not $50. $150! And didn't know my payment didn't go through as I didn't check that email (I get a lot of spam to that one, kind of my fault there). But nevertheless I find out on the 16th of the month when I get a text notice of a late fee of $51 on top of the 150. $201 fee for that month. I get that it's a profit center but this is on the verge of predatory service fees. My fees that month were over 10% of my monthly payment. Don't walk, run away from this lender. Don't let the customer service on the front end sucker you in. I know rates are high today and you're shopping rates but don't go with this company unless you want to get feed to death. Ask any mortgage lender about who's going to service your loan and a list of any and and all fees. If they say their going to sell it to somebody else enter at your own risk. I hate writing bad reviews but they deserve this. @Sunflower, hope you respond!

If I could leave a one star I would. Sunflower Bank locked me out of my account and restricted everything for no reason at all. When people login using their mobile phone every now and then their location will say a different state. They accused me of giving my login information to a bunch of people, then when I tried to transfer money into Sunflower Bank from my ********* account, they accused me of fraud because they said the account doesn't belong to me which I have hard proof that it does. **** never has once locked me out of my account or accused me of things I don't do just to force me to close my account to be able to get my money and then charge a $30 fee for closing the account like ********************** Bank did. The woman on customer service called me a liar when I explained everything to her and told her that I can email her all the proof she needed, but she didn't want to resolve it at all. I would highly recommend everyone to stay away from Sunflower Bank before they scam you out of your money and make false accusations to lock your account.

My father passed away earlier this year and I sent in all requested documentation in order to have the funds from his sunflower bank account dispersed to his estate account. Since his passing, sunflower bank has frozen the account and is holding the funds hostage for over 3 months now. Every time I call to ask about the status they tell me Im going to get a call back, its literally been months and still no call back. The customer service rep was incredibly, rude, unhelpful and condescending. Sunflower bank is the worst bank Ive ever dealt with and will never use them for anything again, absolutely horrible experience.

They are holding check deposits for 9 business days.2023 this should be illegal. It doesn't take 9 days to clear a check in 2023.They are using YOUR money to make interest off. While you wait 9 business days. That's two weeks before you are ALLOWED to access YOUR money. Two weeks before you can pay a bill or make purchases. Just be ? WARNED ? about Banks like this.

I would not recommend doing any business with this Bank. Tried to transfer some money from my Sunflower Bank account to another bank account. It did not go well. They're online banking app is terrible. I gave them all the information they required with deposits made into my other account to confirm the link. Then someone calls me up at 6:30 in the morning Western time to tell me that I need to take a photograph of a check from other bank. Did that but by then they suspended my bank account before the transfer went through. **************** is non-existent. Transfer limit per day is $5,000. Transfer limit per month is $10,000. So in other words they want to hold on to your money. Reeks of insolvency. Bank has been sued for fraudulent charges. Stay away.

Sunflower Bank employs industry standard fraud prevention measures to safeguard the mutual interests of the bank and its customers. Part of these measures include external account transaction limitations as articulated in the governing contracts between the bank and its customers. On rare occasion, these safeguards and limitations result in a negative customer experience. Customers commentary as to Sunflower ***** financial condition and litigation matters are meritless and unfounded.
