    Hello Team BBB, I am hoping that I won't need to file a formal complaint. The situations that I am in due to this are very poor business practices at best. We'll see if they try to make this right, or I will be making it official. Rack Attack ****** charged me $250 for what was supposed to be a 2 1/2 hours job that took 30 minutes to install a hitch. I then find out that the bike rack, that attaches to the hitch that I paid for the previous week, hasn't been ordered. I was promised everything to be ready for use after the 2 1/2 hour appointment. So now it is going to be 7 to ten business days from the day after 2 1/2 hours job. I had to take a day off from work to be available for their scheduled. I was also, again, promised that the product would be ready to use the day of. I have a bike that I am supposed to be purchasing and taking home this same day. All, in preparation for this next weekends bike trip I have had planned for weeks. I have non refundable deposits on two hotel reservations no less. I have no way to get all of our bikes, and gear, and the other couple who also have nonrefundable hotel reservations, on our trip. Then it turns out that Rack Attack needs the 7 to 10 days because they failed to order the rack when I paid for it the week before. I asked the manager for some consideration on the install that took **************************************************************** at least $200 more to cancel both hotel reservations. I surely can't expect the other couple that I invited to pay for that too. The entire reason I went with Rack Attacks and their promises was to avoid exactly this situation. We'll see if they try to make this right when I pick up the bike rack in 7 to 10 days. If not I plan to file an official complaint with BBB. Hopefully this message will be saved if I need it later.
