I attended Lincoln Tech between August 2021 and October 5th 2022. I spoke with a lady in the finance office before starting any withdrawal process and was told I would be liable for one class, potentially 2 classes worth of tuition - I waited until the end of one class to withdrawal - I was paying tuition monthly (account was always current). That would mean $1,476, or potentially $2,952 worth of tuition left to pay after withdrawal. I did what I was instructed to, came into campus, emailed the registrar of withdrawal and gave them reasons. Talked with *** as well as to my reasons. The following month I received an invoice for an additional $6,700, bringing my account total to $9,133. They also placed this "student loan" on my credit report. The original agreement was never to have student loans, as I stated tuition was being paid monthly and was current. I have spent the last year periodically reaching out to the school to no avail. My phone calls to the finance office will not be answered, and they will not return my calls (messages have been left every time.) They will not answer their phone to explain the charges, just charged me thousands of additional dollars and have their collections department call me every month to collect money - they also do not have any answers to these questions.
