Good afternoon, the customer ************************* *********************** was financed with a vehicle On January 11,2024. On this date a Retail Installment Contract was signed between Auto Sale 21 and the customer. As the customer already attached a copy to you, in his contract we had one deferred down payment. This deferred down payment was due on 02/11/2024 for the amount of $1,312.69. We do have to collect the deferred down payments accordingly. To this the customer proceeded to come in to office, threating he would hide the vehicle to avoid repossession. The customer believes we are harassing him as we contact him trying to collect the past due debt. The customer, did contact us about the vehicles issues. We do let the customers know all vehicles are sold As is- No dealer warranty. That being said we do have a mechanic do maintenance on our vehicles before they are sold. We do let customers bring in their own mechanics and test drive the vehicles before any contract is signed. When **************** reached out to us about the vehicles issues, we offered to have a mechanic take a look and give us a diagnostics on the vehicle before any repairs where done. The customer did not have money to repair the vehicle, I offered to help and pay out of my pocket to help the customer get back on the road, even though that is not my responsibility. The mechanic gave us the amount for the repairs in which we then discussed it with **************** before any work was done. He agreed with the amount the mechanic would charge and we did make a contract for monthly payments. Customer failed to make his monthly payments accordingly, therefore we hired General Investigations to repossess the vehicle. Customer did have 10 calendar days to make the past due payments and recover the vehicle. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at **********.
