I went in to this car wash on June 25, 2024 and when the wash was done I noticed a scratch on the near underside of the hood caused by the washing machines. My car is new and this damage was directly caused by the car wash. I called to speak to the manager and he agreed to check out the damage. He denied that the damage was done from his wash but there is no other way the damage could have happened as any rock chips wouldnt be able to hit where the scratch is. He made excuses and only offered to give another car wash which makes no sense because why would I want to damage my car any further. I researched online and it is common for car wash machines to have rocks and other stuff scratch onto cars. Im looking for the car wash to pay for my paint repair and fix the damages. Thank you.

    Business Response

    Hello

****** called, then came to the carwash to review the scratch with our Manager.

****** showed us a scratch that was on the crease of his hood, on the under side edge.  We explained that our automated wash process doesn't access or clean under the hood in that area.  This was caused by some other event, not by washing his vehicle at our facility.

I explained we have not changed anything with our automated wash process since his last visit, and if our equipment  caused the scratch on the under edge crease of his hood, all of the other vehicles would have the same damage on the crease of their hood, in the same area,  and clearly that not the case, because none of the vehicles have the same damage.

As a valued customer, we offered ****** a complementary wash coupon.

Waterworks denies having any responsibility on the scratch on the crease on the underside of his hood, as it did not happen at our facility.
