    I am writing to formally dispute the denial of my tuition refund request and request assistance in clearing my outstanding balance due to unforeseen medical issues that prevented me from completing my course. I submitted a withdrawal request along with supporting medical documentation, as advised by my academic advisor, but to date, I have not received any response from *** confirming the approval of my medical withdrawal or the processing of my refund. Unfortunately, I recently received a notice from ************************ regarding the outstanding balance, which has added further distress to an already challenging situation on Friday, October 25, 2024.On 10/30/2021, I experienced two seizures within a short period, resulting in an emergency visit that led to a series of tests, treatments, and ultimately surgery. These medical issues, spanning from 10/30/2021 through April 2023, severely impacted my ability to continue my coursework. Despite reaching out to my instructor and working with my advisor to submit the required documentation, my condition left me unable to fulfill my academic ************** line with **** medical withdrawal policy, I followed the guidance of my advisor, who instructed me to submit the request and medical records. I kindly request that the balance of $706.99 be waived and that a refund of the payment I made in the amount of $675 be issued. The attached medical records confirm the timeline and severity of my condition, which significantly impacted my ability to attend and complete the course.I am hopeful that *** will recognize my efforts and the genuine hardship I faced during this time. I provided the attached documentation to *** when I made the intital inquiry. I have also included a few additional updated documentation to show that this was an ongoing medical issue that took time before resolving. Please let me know if additional information is needed, and thank you for your attention and consideration.

    Good Afternoon, 

    CSU Global has reached out directly, by email, to the complainant to help guide them through our established tuition appeal process that is in place to provide assistance to students in these specific situations. We appreciate your escalation of this student concern to us given the information shared by the former student.

    After reviewing our records and contact history with the complainant, the institution shared our tuition appeal process at the time they withdrew from the course in November 2021. They were notified again of the appeal process in November 2022, and they did not complete the required form or submit any documentation for CSU Global to consider their request to address the tuition paid and the remaining balance. During this time, the student was notified that their account was referred to collections, and the student  shared with our Student Accounts team that they were going to make payment arrangements while completing the established appeal process. Unfortunately, since no action was taken, the account balance was never addressed.

    Please let them know they can contact  us at ****************************************** if they need help accessing the appeal form, and wed be happy to review their request to have tuition charges reversed.

    Hello, I owe a debt with you all. I have talked to Conserve who has the debt. I am wanting to pay in full but want to see if we can work this out where once paid in full it is removed from my report entirely. ******** says that I have to speak to CSU about this they cannot make that decision. I cannot seem to get in touch with someone who has the authority to make this decision. Can someone who has authority to discuss this please contact me. My student ID is ******. Thank you.

    Good Evening,

    I spoke with the complainant on June 26, 2024 regarding her request to remove the unpaid balance from her credit report. Under the Fair Credit Report Act (FCRA) regulations, we cannot remove the credit reporting for this delinquent balance for the complainant as the balance was accurately calculated, acknowledged and owed to the university when the complainant withdrew from the institution following the tuition and Title IV refund policies published on our website. While we understand that the complainant is attempting to improve her credit score by clearing delinquent balance reporting from their credit report, the institution cannot revoke or remove accurate and timely placements from their credit report as required under FCRA regulations.

    I was researching online schools through my Employer Amazon. Colorado State was one I was researching. I never applied because I was comparing different schools. Twenty five dollars was taken from my account for admission fees. I requested that back and was told no refund; only credit to their store. I never applied, not am I going to Colorado State. I'm requesting my money back.
