My billing from All Copy is (and has been) significantly more expensive than what was promised in the signup process. I thought it was sa fluke at first, but it's clearly now here to stay. Please note that it's regularly almost $200/month higher that the $350 was promised. I only renewed my contract with All Copy BECAUSE it was supposedly around $100 more than what I was currently paying, and because I was told that I needed to renew because my printer was "very old." That said, this seems very much like a hook and bait scheme right now; at best, it's an agreement based on false information given in order to manipulate my signup. In short, what I was told and what I was promised are very different from the services that have been delivered. I've contacted All Copy several times to try to rectify the situation, but they generally ignore me. I don't want a refund and/or anything else; I just want to return my printer and be let out of my contract.

I am rejecting this response because: previous invoices included charges that we're fully disclosed to me, and the offer from the business is/was more expensive than what I'm currently paying.  In general, it wasn't an offer made in good faith.  AllCopy has made no real attempt to reconcile this aside from the thread of sending me to collections.  They appear to not be good people.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

I am rejecting this response because: they sent an email that had partial information, and the partial information given wasn't helpful in resolving my dispute with them.  In the end, they wrote the contract and included superfluous fees, but when I've asked for justification and proof of these fees they seem confused as to exactly how these fees are calculated AND where to find information pertaining to how and why I'm being charged.  As with any contract, not providing asked for information is a break of contract.  I have a right to ask and they have an obligation to answer.  As of now, they haven't actually answered my questions.  They've sent me a copy/paste of an excel spreadsheet wherein the information provided is useless.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

We endeavored to answer all questions asked of us by *********  The ******* of this request was that the clients business was changing, and they requested different equipment than we had originally contracted.  The original finance agreement needs to be fulfilled before we can offer any changes.  We worked within the context of that agreement to offer changes which proved to be more expensive than the clients current agreement.  Every follow up question has been answered as well.  As weve performed our services to contracted expectations with almost 100%uptime, we would expect the same level of performance by our client.

Subject: Formal Complaint Against Predatory Leasing Practices by All Copy Products I, *************************, owner of ****** ****** Corp., submit this complaint against All Copy Products due to their unethical and predatory business practices. This issue arises from a printer lease agreement facilitated by sales manager ********************* and sales representative *****************************, under conditions that have since become financially untenable for our company.Initially, our lack of sufficient business credit led All Copy Products to require a personal guarantee from an internal team member, a decision that now appears designed to secure our compliance with the lease under any circumstance. As economic challenges forced us to reassess our expenses, we sought to renegotiate the lease terms. Despite proposing viable solutions, including transferring the lease to a third party, which would relieve our financial burden and offer savings to another business, ***************************** dismissed our efforts. Their insistence on a $13,000 buyout to terminate the lease reflects a ***** preference for profit over equitable business conduct.Their refusal to facilitate or even consider reassignment of the lease, despite its feasibility and mutual benefit, highlights a broader pattern of prioritizing company gains over client well-being. This approach not only strains our operations but also threatens the financial security of the personal guarantor involved.Such conduct by All Copy Products raises serious concerns about predatory lending and sales tactics that exploit client vulnerabilities. It undermines the principles of fairness and integrity crucial to business transactions and may potentially violate consumer protection laws.I urge an investigation into these practices and request that steps be taken to address this conduct, ensuring businesses like ours are not subjected to such exploitative arrangements in the future.Sincerely,*************************

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent experience. We value your input and take all customer reviews seriously as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our products and customer service.

Upon reviewing your feedback, we would like to address the matter of the personal guarantee you agreed to as part of the lease agreement. As you may recall, before finalizing the lease agreement, you acknowledged and agreed to the terms, which included a personal guarantee clause.

The personal guarantee clause is a standard provision in our lease agreements, designed to provide added assurance to our company regarding fulfilling lease obligations. By agreeing to this clause, you acknowledge your responsibility for meeting the lease terms, including timely payment and compliance with other stipulations outlined in the agreement.

We understand that entering into a lease agreement with a personal guarantee is a significant decision, and we strive to ensure that our terms are transparent and fair to all parties involved. Our intention is not to cause inconvenience or hardship but to establish clear expectations and protect our company's and customers' interests.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter and hope you will reconsider your review in light of your agreement to the terms and conditions outlined in the lease agreement.

      Complaint: 21407517

I am rejecting this response because:

Pursuant to the obligations and rights established under the ******** Revised Statutes, particularly those relating to lease agreements and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, this correspondence serves to formally address several failures and omissions by your company in the leasing arrangement concerning the commercial printer leased to us.

Firstly, there was a lack of disclosure as required under ******** law regarding the termination of the lease solely through a payout, without providing alternative methods for lease termination, in violation of the principles outlined in the ******** Revised Statutes Section pertaining to consumer protection and lease agreements.

Additionally, there was no prior disclosure that the installation of a new power source would be necessary to operate the leased printer. This omission constitutes a failure to inform and a breach of the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose as stipulated under ******** law, necessitating that leased equipment be suitable for the specific needs of the lessee.

Upon raising these issues with Mr. ****************************** there was a noticeable lack of effort to rectify the situation by finding a unit that would appropriately meet our operational requirements, further exacerbating our losses and demonstrating a disregard for lessee satisfaction and rights under ********** leasing statutes.

Moreover, the demand for payment despite the failure to set up an Automated Clearing House (ACH) due to the printer's incompatibility with our existing facilitiesand the initial issues encounteredillustrates a disregard for the foundational contract principles of good faith and fair dealing inherent in ********** commercial transaction laws.

Lastly, your company's refusal to cooperate in transferring the lease agreement to another party, thereby mitigating damages, is noted as an additional grievance. This lack of cooperation further substantiates the claim of non-compliance with the duty to mitigate damages as expected under ******** law.

This letter constitutes a final attempt to resolve these matters amicably before we are compelled to pursue legal action for the recovery of damages incurred from the lease of the printer, including, but not limited to, all payments made in relation to the lease agreement and the additional costs imposed by the need to install a new power source, in accordance with the remedies and compensations outlined in the ******** Revised Statutes.

We urge your immediate attention to this matter to avoid litigation.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

Referring to the methods of concluding the lease, the option to make a lump sum payment is one of the ways to fulfill the agreed-upon 48-month lease contract.. The customer can elect to make all monthly payments versus a lump sum and close out the contract as noted with within the terms and conditions of the contract.

We do agree that there was an error with the missed information concerning the proper power source for the equipment, but ACP and the sales rep provided compensation back to the customer in the fall of 2022.  The sales team did talk with other customers about taking over the terms of the lease, but the customers elected to take another route best suited for their needs.

Again, our intention is not to cause inconvenience or hardship but to establish clear expectations.  ACP has provided and given the customer all the possibilities and amounts to close the agreement at this time.

** Hi BBB I did not attach my message in the previous response and clicked enter. Here is the answer to their response which was rejected. ***

I am writing in response to the complaint filed against All Copy Products (ACP) under Complaint ID [*************]. I appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised and provide further clarity on the matter.

Regarding the allegations made, I assert that ACP has indeed breached its contractual obligations under the lease agreement established for the printer. Despite assurances of compensation for failures to deliver or inform, ACP has failed to fulfill this commitment, demonstrating a blatant disregard for contractual terms. Notably, ACP has neglected to address a critical power line issue for which compensation was promised, despite repeated requests for resolution. See below attached where ***************************** states that he notified us of the power requirements, although I encourage ACP to prove this as this never happened. Although they were in breach of the lease ****************** said "Unfortunatley everything has been processed and you are in a contract now. You will have to get the correct power and then will be able to use the device."

Furthermore, ACP's failure to disclose all material factors essential for informed decision-making constitutes a violation of ******** law, as outlined in the ******** Consumer Protection Act (C.R.S. Title 6, Article 1, Part 1). By withholding crucial information pertinent to the lease transaction, ACP has placed itself in direct violation of statutory provisions, rendering the agreement voidable at my discretion.

Of significant concern is ACP's alleged misrepresentation of its efforts to offer similar lease terms to other clients. Despite claims of actively promoting this unit, ACP has provided no tangible evidence to substantiate such endeavors. We also have written documentation from ********************* that they did not offer this lease to any prospective our current clients. This is attached below. It is inconceivable why ACP would refrain from extending a beneficial lease opportunity to potential clients, particularly when substantial savings are at stake. This failure to provide evidence of active promotion further underscores ACP's deceptive practices and lack of transparency.
In light of these breaches, I demand the immediate termination of the lease agreement and the retrieval of the leased printer by ACP. Furthermore, I expect ACP to cease any further attempts to enforce the terms of the lease agreement, given its inherent unlawfulness and ACP's repeated breaches.

Moreover, I insist upon a resolution wherein, upon compliance with the aforementioned demands, all negative reviews pertaining to this matter shall be retracted, and any complaints filed with regulatory bodies such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Attorney General of ******** shall be promptly withdrawn. Failure to adhere to these demands within a reasonable timeframe will necessitate further legal action to seek damages as permitted under ******** law.
I implore the BBB to take swift and decisive action to address these grievances and hold ACP accountable for its actions. Your intervention is crucial in ensuring that consumers are protected from deceptive business practices and that justice is served.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that the BBB will take appropriate steps to resolve this dispute in a fair and equitable manner.

We have a copier / printer coming out of lease effective 11/1/2022. This has been a 60 month lease. I have repeatedly tried to ******* the company over the summer regarding pick up of the machine as it comes out of the lease. I have called customer service, the local office in ***********, ****************** - and have received no return calls - about how to get the machine picked up. I finally sent a letter and then also e-mailed that letter on 9/28/2022 after receiving no return phone calls. On October 24, 2022 I received an e-mail with an attachment from an asset management operation team member under title of *********************** where the attachment refers me to a small paragraph of our original contract that states we must give written notice between 90 and 150 days of the end of the five year contract of the lease renews for a period of 1 year. I have spent the an enormous amount of time over the summer trying to get someone to talk with us about this contract. We've had absolutely no ******* from any of the All Copy staff for close to 4 years except for one random phone call this summer where the individual did not call back when I was out of the office. Their web search site via ****** cautions individuals that "this place tricks people into these predatory leases and will not let you out" and "this is one of the worst and shadiest service companies I have ever dealt with". I wish we had known that five years ago. At this time I cannot get anyone to return my calls to talk about this matter. I don't have a rep ******* and the name I do have is not calling back. We are in ******, the company is in ****** City now with no local *******. I have been giving multiple names to ******* - of which I get no return calls. We are a very small non-profit and at the very least I'd like to speak with a company rep to resolve the manner in a way that might work for all.

We appreciate the time of all parties involved in this matter to come to a resolution.  I have spoken now to ****** who stated that she has been in touch with a member of our team and that the machine is being picked up today 12/15/2022.  At this time we show the agreement as closed and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
