      Both me and a friend have two separate business accounts with **********************. Without any notice, this is the second time both of our business debit cards have been shut off without permission. Westerras reasoning is that they have sent out new cards in the mail. Well, two weeks later, nothing for both of us in the mail. Keep in mind that we live separately, as well as have two separate businesses. I personally chose to go in to a location. In ********, **. They don't print cards for businesses in store. So I have them mail me another card. This will take 10 business days. So now for about a month, I've been having to write checks from my business account to pay for things. This has made making purchases for my business incredibly difficult. And for a second time in three years of having an account with **********************. If I was notified that this was going to happen, maybe I could have prepared. Or, if Westerra didn't lie and say they "sent out new business cards to all business accounts", maybe it wouldn't be an issue. However, with two business owners going through the exact same thing...I don't think they sent new cards. There's nothing like being embarrassed at a cashier because your debit card is denied...and again, for no reason. Other than the fact that Westerra wanted to "send out new cards". This is the second time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...just kidding! Here's a bad review.

      Same as the previous review left, if I could give westerra 0 stars, i definitely would. Its crazy to say Ive been a member with them for a whole ten years!! Throughout this entire relationship, they have not helped me with any resources, when I needed, No solutions when I needed it, very unprofessional and argumentative. They do not care about their customers, they charge their customers random crazy fees, honestly from all of this I can describe it feels like they hate you really. ******** and trust a company with your funds that doesnt care about you, doesnt care to help you, doesnt care to help you to the best of their ability. 10 years wasted with you all.Recently the last straw is westerra constantly blocks my transactions, which is super annoying because it could be like every 4th transaction. I had called today 9/7/24- spoke to ***** ***** would not provide me with her last name, nor would she provide me with her supervisor name, I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said none were present, and ended up hanging up on me. The reason a supervisor was requested, was because they wouldnt allow with my permission, MY CARD, MY ACCOUNT, MY MONEY, to be unblocked after I kept telling them it was me who input my credit card information, it was me who did purchase from this group! This is right after I lost my uncle literally they have no compassion and want to make this the most difficult experience everytime! Its crazy I have to deal with a pos credit union, who hates their customers. Very unprofessional, very shady, very untrustworthy. Id run. Im also closing my account immediately with them, they will not have my money or trust any longer.

      If I could give Westerra Zero stars I would. What a nightmare it has been! We took out a home improvement loan with Westerra in September 2023 and could not obtain an account number (even when going into a branch). We began loan payments in January 2024 only to find interest had accrued on the loan from September with no way to pay on the loan. I made numerous phone calls to set up an on line payment schedule only to be given the wrong information on how to set up the account. Month after month I would have to call Westerra (even on vacation) to deal with my payments that were consistently mis-applied to the wrong accounts. I even paid off one of the loans only for Westerra to continue to take money out of my ***** Fargo account and place it in a savings account (a transaction I've never authorized). I'm now working with individuals at the senior leadership level in hopes of paying off my second (higher) loan only to be told that with interest and principal, we've only paid down $300.00 of a $23,000 home improvement loan. I was told that they would take $200 off my loan as a courtesy. What a joke! As a consumer, I've had to jump through so many hoops, make numerous phone calls, and now am considering hiring an attorney. I'm not sure how Westerra has an A+ credit rating with the BBB when the reviews I've read are all one star. Shame on you Westerra Credit Union, your business practices are deplorable and I hope we (your customers) are able to take class action suit against you for your horrible business practices.

      Every month have an issue with payments going through and when I told them I am Active duty and was away on training and have made the payment but it never took. "You didn't tell us you were in training, therefore too bad and since it's not our fault" this is the worst bank I have ever dealt with and I have multiple both business and personal. Worst customer service I have delt with in any institution/business. I'm taking my business else where.

      Filed a complaint to the **** and to Westerra for horrific discriminatory and demeaning customer service practices. Will be filing a complaint with:Consumer Financial Protection ******** Attorney General's Office.Office of the Comptroller of the Currency **** Securities and ******************* ************* Department of the Treasury I highly recommend filing a complaint with all these agencies. Westerra Credit Union needs to be shut down.
