  Hired this company for a backyard renovation including concrete work and a new balcony. From start to finish, there were shortcuts and mistakes. I flat out told them not to do one very specific thing, which they did anyway, both damaging part of my house as well as guaranteeing the balcony won't pass an inspection. I was very displeased with the project managers complete lack of communication and irresponsibility when in came to managing the subcontractors and timing. I felt like I was constantly pestering him to get going. In short, I was told the project would take 4 weeks, and had to fire them 14 months later with the project still not finished. To make things worse, stuff we talked about in the original plan were not included and now I'm paying another company to both complete those features, and well as to fix the mistakes from ExRec, costing me an extra ~10k. Do not hire this company.

  I recently hired Exterior Recovery to install a new deck. They tore down the old deck with efficiency and hauled away the same day. Once the new deck work started the workers promptly completed the task. *****, the crew ******* is a true professional, and very picky on doing quality craftsmanship.Working with ******, the job supervisor, was a delight. He kept me in the loop and clearly communicated every step of the project.I would recommend Exterior Recovery to any homeowner who wants quality construction, and good value for the money invested. ****************

  Overall had a very frustrating, poorly managed project. They made the effort to correct their mistakes, but these were mistakes that should not have ever happened. All sub contractors produced sub-par work, no attention to detail at all. We had to have the whole house sanded down (on our new siding) and repainted after the original painters did a rush job with poor quality paint. Had a ton of rework on the deck and the sub had a terrible attitude to the point we had to ask him not to come back. ****** was not very present or involved until everything was going wrong. Never heard from **** after he sold us the project. We ended up doing a lot of the finishing work ourselves because we couldnt trust the people they hired to do good work. Absolutely no project management or oversight. Project took 6 months longer than anticipated due to all rework and inaccurately ordering of material quantities.
