My experience with Advanced Dermatology at **************************************************, was deeply unsatisfactory, leading me to decide not to continue any business with them in the future. Initially, securing an appointment itself was a hurdle, as it took an entire month to get a slot. On the day of my appointment, I prepared thoroughly, aware that my GPS showed the location was a 45-minute drive from my home. To be cautious, I left an hour early, anticipating possible traffic delays. However, the travel time unexpectedly extended to an hour and a half, causing me to arrive 15 minutes late. Upon arrival, the staff's response was extremely disheartening. They showed no understanding or willingness to accommodate the unforeseen delay, despite my explanation and evident effort to arrive on time. They insisted on rescheduling the appointment, demonstrating a lack of empathy and flexibility. This experience left me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a customer. As a result, I have firmly decided not to reschedule with Advanced Dermatology. The lack of understanding and customer service I experienced has completely dissuaded me from wanting to continue any business with them.

Honestly, what a joke. My spouse and I scheduled back-to-back appointments months in advance. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled appointment, we received a call saying that the location of our appointment had been changed from the nearby office we had selected to one across town from us. We wanted to cancel our appointments, but, given that we received less than 24 hours notice of the change, did not think we could do so without being billed. The next morning, I made the long haul across town for my appointment. I arrived and was told that my appointment had been cancelled because the doctor would not be in that day. The staff didn't even bother to call me to inform me ahead of time, but, rather, waited to inform me of the cancellation until I had driven across town and arrived at their office. What a total waste of time and gas. If the office is this incapable of managing a calendar, I certainly wouldn't entrust my health to them.

I walked in for my appointment and they had cancelled it without informing me. Do not do business with this group!

Appointment schedule early morning at *********** location. Arrive to be told I was canceled. No reason given other than doctor couldn't see me that day. They called my cell but didn't leave a message. Very upset but rescheduled for 2 weeks out. I am driving the 16 miles to the location when I get a call 20 mins before check-in. "You made your appointment on line and this doctor isn't seeing new patients. We called & left a message the day before". ALL LIES! No I made the appointment with receptionist. Doctor must be seeing patients because I got 3 texts confirming appt, asking for credit card for co-pay & final text "see you tomorrow". And, I'm not a new patient! No Calls & for sure no voicemail. My time is as valuable as theirs. Not good. Never will see this clinic/office/group.

They will tell you that your appointment is covered by insurance when it is not. Then the billing department will demand payment and will not investigate. Best to avoid!

***********, ** location. Horrible experience here. The first visit with a young PA back around 2019 was great, but my second experience with an older male doctor was awful. He was NOT thorough, and only took about 5 minutes in the room with me. I was worried about a few spots on my skin and wanted to get it frozen off. I had done this before with the PA and she told me it would cost $40, and froze it off no problem. When I went this last time though, neither the doctor nor the nurse in the room told me that freezing a tiny, unproblematic spot off would cost $130!!!! This showed up on my **** when I went to reception to check out, and the receptionist couldnt even explain the charges on the invoice to me and was super rude about the whole thing- thinking that I was just trying to not pay. Had I known the new cost of this 5- second procedure which AD deems as surgery, I would NOT have chosen to have it frozen, and would instead have monitored the spot, as it was literally the size of a small freckle. OR, I would have had more spots frozen off if more were included in the $130 charge. I used to bed tan for about 10 years in my teens and 20s (mistake, I know) and expect my doctors to be thorough with skin checks, not complacent- like this last doctor was. I do not recommend him or this practice. I have been trying to get this **** cleared up and their billing department doesnt listen to voicemails, or read emails, so trying to reach them has been a nightmare and has made my blood boil. I have been trying to reach them for about two months to get this issue cleared up, but there has been no progress yet. I should be able to trust the experts here, but taking less than 5 minutes with a patient who likely needs a closer look, while not being up front about cost is poor practice.
