Rocky Mountain Power Systems (RMPS) is not a partner to be trusted. I placed an order for a Generac home protection system via Coscto and RMPS. I am happy with the installation and with the generator however dealing with RMPS for service and maintenance has been less than pleasant. My troubles began when the sales ***resentative (longterm employee of ****) with whom my partnership was established, left the company. This sales *** left ********* sale and prior to installation. Since then I have been dealing with junior staff which behaves erratically and irrationally. Regardless, I was generally happy with their field engineers and the service they performed. That is until one of their new field engineers appeared at my home one day to perform service on my unit in NOV of 2023. The engineer arrived 2 months prior to the normal scheduled maintenance interval. I communicated to the engineer that I did not wish to perform the service until the normal time as I could not pay for the service until the normal time(Due to unforeseen prior personal issues). The engineer indicated that this was not an issue and insisted it was better to do it now than to come back in December. I indicated that as long as they were fine receiving payment in 60 days(December) to go ahead. My issue arose when I received a call out of the blue and was threatened by the **** admin with collections for failing to pay for the service within 15 days. After a heated exchange where I mentioned there are more constructive ways to solve the problem; the admin dropped the issue. I promptly paid the bill as promised. Fast forward to 2024. This same admin now refuses to schedule service and maintenance on my generator and indicates it is due to my failure to pay on time and my hostility toward RMPS(as I have stated I will ***ort this incident to BBB and ******* which I am now doing). I am completely disappointed. I have invested in a 20K Generator and have no way to maintain warranty services.
