    Company completed a job at my home in Golden. Air sealing and insulation in attic.Work completed 6/20/2022. Final invoice paid by me 6/30/2022.***************** allows homeowners a rebate for insulation work of this type (a process that was confirmed by me with the owner prior to the work). The state requires the contractor to provide testing numbers (a report) to homeowner in order to file for the rebate.Over the past four months, I have made numerous requests (via text and email) for this report. Despite repeated promises (also via text) from the owner, ******, I have yet to receive the report. This is preventing me from claiming this rebate, costing me hundreds of dollars.

    Good morning.

     

    I have been in contact with *********  I expressed my mutual disappointment but had to correct the facts.  The following can be documented and verified through time stamps and emails sent.  We sent him the documentation in early August 2022.  We never got a confirmation of receipt.  **** then followed up in late Sept/early Oct, asking for the rebate info, so we resent it.  Again, no confirmation of receipt.  Fast forward to November.  Copy paste and I clearly asked to confirm receipt.  None.  Then we get the complaint and review on social media about how our customer service is poor but we made our efforts.  It turns out that we didn't even have the correct email address.  We received no phone call, like an actual call but do have plenty of correspondence via text messages.  I hate seeing this escalate to complaints.  We forget as a society that our phones were meant for calls and not just messaging.  This could've been cleared up with a simple phone call but the ******* didn't make any attempts.  **** is a pilot so I can understand his schedule but ***** (***************), seems to have taken the situation over and to a whole new level.  I never had the chance to meet or speak with her.

     

    The matter has been rectified and the programs (facts) have been clarified.  The is no "state rebate" and there are no "guaranteed" monies out there for the work we do.  The programs we participate in have clear guidelines that we have to follow in order for any of our clients to receive incentives.  *************** was incorrect in claiming we are responsible for them losing out on any money or incentives.

     

    Happy to discuss the matter further as needed but to the best of our knowledge, the ******* have all they need to submit for their rebate.
