    On June 4, 2024 I went to get my fingerprint clearance completed for my substitute license and for my practicum hours at school. I was notified by Colorado Fingerprinting, the company I used, that my fingerprint clearance was successful. When I reached out to the company for the results, I was told they only issue the record to one location and even though I am the one who paid for the test, I would not be allowed to see the results. No where on their website does it state they will not issue the results to the individual requesting the results and who has had to pay for them. Now, I have to schedule another background check with another company for the same amount that does share the information with the individual automatically as well as the **** I need to have the results because I have to issue them to my school to continue my education and begin my practicum hours.

    Colorado Fingerprinting is an approved vendor for the Colorado ****** of ************* (***) and the fingerprint process for licensure/employment in the state of Colorado is built on *** specifications.  As explained previously to **************** Colorado Fingerprinting does not receive the background check results under any circumstances. The results are delivered to the agency indicated by the *** unique ID used with the request, which is posted on our website at **********************************************; The code used by **************** has background check results delivered to the Colorado ********** of ********* (CDE).  Also as explained to **************** if there are questions on the background check results or to possibly obtain a copy of the results it would be best to contact the CDE.  Again, Colorado Fingerprinting does not receive the results under any circumstances and it is best for applicants to contact the agency authorized by the *** to receive the results.
