I recently had had a flooring catastrophe after my waterline froze and had to work with Zulu for an insurance house restoration, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They did a fantastic job restoring my floors, making them look even better than before. The customer service was phenomenal throughout the entire process. The team was professional, attentive, and always available to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Zulu for anyone in need of restoration services. They truly go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction

Thanks for the review! We felt that your kitchen remodel was a great project and the outcome is even better. The ********************* cabinets look amazing alongside the quartz countertops. The tile floors also look stunning! Please keep us in mind for future jobs. We appreciate the review.

Zulu contractor recommended by ********************** (which had done a good job). Foolishly assumed Zulu would be as good as Deep Water.Estimator for Zulu was fine. Only later found out he was contracted to provide the estimate. Work performed by Zulu was terrible. Tech left baseboard 1.5 inch from the wall. Did not caulk baseboard. Only partially painted baseboard. And... applied orange peel texture....only problem is our walls have knockdown finish.Contacted Project Manager for **** and asked that a supervisor get involved before any additional work would be performed. He stated that there were no supervisors in the state of *********** NOT USE ZULU

    Hello ******,

We are sorry that you were not happy with the initial work that was done at your property. We tried to resolve the issue with you in multiple ways, by offering up a different Colorado based crew and offering to send out a ******** based PM to take care of these blue tape items, which are common on job closeouts. These punch list items would have likely taken an additional day or two to correct for the baseboard work and texture work that you described. We certainly don't disagree that some issues needed to be resolved. Ultimately, you opted to terminate our agreement to perform and complete your work. We did not want to dispute this too much, because we felt that you wanted to go a different direction. Upon parting ways, Zulu Contractors agreed to forfeit the remaining amount owed as a component of the separation agreement. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

    Sincerely,

    Zulu Contractors

I was terribly disappointed and frustrated with ****. Starting with long delays just getting a quote and signed contract, I hoped it would improve when work started. It did not. At the time, no ****** and BBB reviews warned me of this behavior but now (a year later), I see many other similar comments that I hope others will read and take to heart. A simple kitchen remodel that they said would take 3 weeks instead took 3 months. A general contractor is expected to schedule and manage their sub-contractors to get work done, yet he never showed up once (even when he promised to do some work himself) and I was the one that had to keep track of when everyone was expected to arrive to do what work, and then call and harass them to find out why they were days late and convince them to come back and do the work they were supposed to do. In every phase of the project, some part of the work had to be done twice to get it done adequately including the project manager quitting in the middle and a new project manager had to be assigned. And all work that was done seemed to be at 75-80% quality and they left trash/dirt behind at the end. I'm not sure if that was the best they could do or if they were intentionally cutting corners because they were behind or because I wasn't a priority, but either way it was only "minimum acceptable" quality and no better. The owner claims that he was doing it for a discount, or losing money, etc. which in itself is a bad practice, but wasn't my choice and shouldn't be a reason for bad work and customer service. Also, I tracked the hours and type of work everyone was doing throughout the whole project, and based on a generous assumption of hourly rate of contractors, either it's not true and was trying to justify being late and incompetent, or was telling the truth and his subcontractors were ripping him off.

The absolute worst! The closest to on time they ever were was 2 hours late if they showed at all. Zero communication or warning. Kept being passed from one sub to another, each unprepared for the project. Avoid at all costs.

The estimator showed up an hour late so we had him reschedule. The next day he was on time...telling me all that i wanted to hear. He wasted about an hour measuring and writing stuff down. He said he would have an emailed estimate to me rhe following day. 5 days later and still nothing. Ive texted him....nada. Dont waste your time or money with these people. They are on their OWN schedule.

Exercise caution when considering working with *******************. ***** has been known to exhibit condescending and disrespectful behavior. While his subcontractors are capable of completing work to an acceptable standard, it is important to remain patient with them as they work on their own schedule and may offer excuses for delays. In my case, my tenant was forced to endure two months with a vanity, tub, and toilet occupying the master bedroom due to delays by Zulu Contractors. Additionally, ***** defamed my character with my insurance provider when I was unavailable to respond to his demand for final payment, providing less than 72 hours and a final invoice had not been provided. Buyer beware.

This company gets numerous contracts that their unable to fulfill in a timely manner. They also start jobs and do NOT complete them as they have me and my family. Lack of communication, and unprofessionalism. Paid fully for a job that was NOT COMPLETE, and now wants to walk away WITHOUT properly completing or accepting responsibility to their errors and correcting them. **** the owner ALWAYS gives excuses and wld rather buy you out than correcting the problem. **** starts remodeling, then attempts walking away from you without the job complete, and complete as it should be as he has been paid to do

We are sorry that you are not satisfied. We have done everything that we can within your budget of $8,500. We actually hired a Xactimate professional to estimate the work that we've done in your bathroom and the total came out to more than $14,000. We have eaten thousands of dollars in free upgrades to keep you happy. We've added a free niche to your tiled shower, a new toilet, and we've put up new lighting at no charge. We even upgraded the trim of the lights as well for free according to my subcontractors. The valve covers with the special finishes in your tub are upgrades. Wayfair confirmed this in an email. Finally, we allowed you to pick and choose all of the finishes in your bathroom including the tub and accessories, lighting, paint, grout, tile, vanity, mirror, and everything else. We installed what you selected and provided links to.

Ok so let's NOT start telling lies.. This toilet was the toilet I purchased months ago, and the same toilet that was reinstalled. Yous saying you received an email from Wayfair; an email in which I never viewed Lightening had to be replaced as they were taken down, and I am the one that purchased the light fixture, because there was one there previously. The tub should have HARDWARE as the previous tub had and as everyone's tubs have. You did NOT DO ANYTHING extra, and NOW U REFUSE TO COMPLETE MY BATHROOM in which you did not finish? Really lol..smh.I have pictures from beginning to end, and I hope you have a good attorney, because I know I do. You are a mess and so unprofessional!

There was NOT any trim upgrades added to my bathroom. Customers pay you for their services, so we as customers are able to tell you exactly what items we want, because your getting paid does not mean that you pick out the tub and other items that we want, but you as a contractor and business owner are supposed to get the hardware needed, and complete the job in which you started. This company walked away with my bathroom incomplete, and comes up with AGAIN, EXCUSES AND LIES to try to cover their ****..Well I have all the proof I need, and I will be taking this Zulu Contractors to court unless this job is properly completed.
