  May 5th Hail Medic took my car, waited for the insurance to approve and a check to start work. My insurance sent emails to me and the company letting them know it was approved. I was promised updates every Tuesday and Thursday. That didnt occur. I called spoke to ****. The insurance approved the work and sent me a check. Payment was made on May 13th. I get a text from **** May 17th saying that they were still waiting to hear from the insurance. I called him to let him know it was approved. I received a text on May 30th that my car was waiting to be worked on. June 8 I was called asking if there was a special way to open the hood to my car. They couldnt open the hood. I never had that problem. This was the first I ever heard of it. Mid June I called the owner to find out what was going on. The first thing he said after I explained who I was, was how did you get this number? The 28th I get a call from *****, the manager, that hail medic will refund the money for the work not done on my car. He haggled on the hours worked stating that he had to pay his guys something. We agreed to meet halfway on the hours the insurance paid for work on the hood. June 29th I get my car. I had to pay the full amount first. When I look at my car the windshield wasnt fixed either. I called *****, he explained why it wasnt replaced. He was talking about the cowl, asked if I knew what it was. I said I did. He said oh I forgot you work at auto part store in a condescending manner. I took offense. I told ***** that my knowledge on cars are from my father who was a mechanic and my uncles who had body shops. ***** said they would refund the cost of the windshield. He started to haggle about the hours for repair. He has yet to call me back. I cant pay for work not done on my car. Im going to have to get my car fixed for a problem that I never had and my windshield replaced. Im going to need all the money for that windshield. The part, the kit, and the hours paid out to have it fixed.

  They took my car and stated they would clear coat over certain areas that could create rust. In pictures after I got my car back they not only did not follow through on that they also returned my car with a noticeable difference in one area and told me it was due to wear. When I've had the same spot for 2 years. Paint is now peeling back and it in fact wasn't before.
