On 8/14/24 I paid Hail Pro Collision $5,680.83 for my 2023 ***** Pilot Elite hail damage and $6,756.84 for my 2016 ***** HRV hail damage. They have yet to respond to my phone calls, coming by the office to try and talk to the owner ****** *****, left messages with his staff, sent emails along with pictures showing that there was damage done to my vehicles that were not there when I brought the cars to their place of business. The hail damage on my HRV was not complete. The clerk stated they were waiting on parts and would call me when they were in and I still have yet to hear from anyone. I keep leaving messages and no reply from anyone. My Pilot Elite is a brand new vehicle and had less than ***** miles when they took my vehicle in and they returned it with the gas cap broken and the back hatch hand handle broken and they tried to glue it to repair it.Initial Complaint

I paid over $1000 for work that didn't even fix my car, and the owner said he would come back to take a look, and never did. ****** repeatedly told me that he would come back to fix the problem and just kept blowing me off with excuses and finally ignored/ghosted me. He didn't warranty his work and I'm investigating whether or not he really did replace anything, because I don't think he did. I've since had the part replaced and everything has been running fine. I will be seeking a lawsuit to get my money back for services not rendered. Such an absolute joke and horrible way to do business ??Business Response

This customer has a vehicle with well over 200k miles on it, a very worn out vehicle. I replaced the fuel pump and she had more issues down the road. I had offered to help her but then she started to come at me with an attitude and treating me poorly so I refused to do any more work for her. Her car was fixed when I got done there is no justification for this complaint. She has a 20 year old vehicle thats been beat up for all of those years. Trunk Issue: Following HailPro's hail damage repair, closing the drivers door caused the trunk/hatch to automatically open. HailPro was unable to fix the issue; ultimately a repair at the dealership was necessary.Hood Replacement: Despite the insurance estimate and payment I provided ($4900) which included hood replacement, plus the insurance supplement HailPro requested and received ($7600) which also specified and included hood replacement, as well as informing me at our 7/19/23 meeting that the hood would be replaced it was not.Loner Car: The loner car HailPro provided was driven twice and then remained in place at my location for two weeks while on vacation it leaked oil and left multiple stains on the driveway.$250 Rebate: HailPro promised on multiple occasions, but has yet to provide, the $250 rebate for missing our original appointment despite verbal and texted acknowledgements, and my repeated attempts to work around HailPro's reported issues with the US Mail which made them unable to send the check to me. I picked a hail repair company from reviews on Yelp.They picked up my car and gave me a loaner and said it would take 3 weeks to fix.I gave Liberty Mutual the directive to pay the shop.I didn't realize they would pay the shop before the work was done.After 3 weeks and no real update as to any work being done I went up to the shop and took my car back.They had done nothing.They lied about submitting a supplement for more money to the insurance company.The insurance company is saying they can't help me because I gave them permission to pay the shop.They Picked up my car July 20th 2023. On September 29th, 2022, my vehicle was seen at HailPro Co. LLC for an estimate done by ***********************. The documentation I received stated that there was a total of ******** in damage, minus my 750 dollar deductible, which leaves myself with a ******** check to cover hail damage repairs. The hail damage claim date is stated to have occurred on 8/15/2022. ***********************, owner and operator of HailPro Co, stated initially that they were a Progressive shop (this has since then turned out to be false). After the repair quote was done, I signed documents issuing that I would like to get work done through them. *********************** cashed the check sent for the entire amount listed above on October 15th. At that time, there had been no work done to my vehicle. My vehicle was not seen again until December 12th where I had communicated I wanted a partial repair quote done. Up until this time, ****** was very difficult to communicate with. I left several texts, calls and voicemails due to him having my car for a week to do a quote. After the second quote, ****** suggested to move forward separately and go to another shop to get my repairs done. I was then informed by Progressive to request that he sends the check issued by them back so I could get the repairs done elsewhere. ****** had agreed to send the check back to Progressive on December 20th. To date 2/6/2023, Progressive has not received a check and I have not gotten any updates from ****** after following up several times with no response.Business Response

I just spoke with a representative from ******************************** and I expressed that I missed the window to reply to my original complaint email. I would like to reopen the dispute case, as well as forward this email to the business I am filing the complaint with (HailPro Co) as communication with this business has been slow and subpar.
As stated in my original complaint, I have not received my insurance check back from HailPro Co, who claims to have sent it in January. He then replied and stated that he sent it. My response to his reply is to ask for a form of confirmation (receipt) that the check was sent as well as to the address that was specified.

Good afternoon,
After further investigation the original reimbursement check sent to this consumers insurance company has not been paid and therefore I have forwarded this complaint to our escalated investigative accounting team. I have instructed my team to reissue the check, less, the customers deductible, Administrative fees, storage fees for the time the vehicle was stored at the repair facilities storage lot, legal costs incurred in the duration of this situation. All of this is included in the legal binding documents that ****************** signed and agreed upon first requesting our repair services and to have HailPro handle her claim on the insureds behalf. I also noted to have the reissued check sent to the address in the complaint for the second time and to send copies of all documents sent including a copy of the certified mailing receipt so I can attach to be included in this complaint. Please allow **** business days for the team to get the original check voided, 3-5 business days for the team to receive confirmation that it has been voided and get a new one sent out and finally an additional ***** business days for the insurance to receive the new check. Once I receive all of these documents I will update to this complaint accordingly. Thank you for your patience as these things take time and have an amazing day.

BBB representative,
I responded to the last message from ***********************, owner of HailPro Co., and failed to add some needed information when rejecting his response. In ******'s response he claims that I would owe him my insurance deductible. Attached is proof stating from my Progressive Claims Adjuster that I would owe him this amount if the work has been completed, which it has not. I will also attach proof as to *************************** message providing information that he is my progressive claims adjuster. I have also attached proof stating from ****** that he could not get me the price I wanted to pay for partial work and that he wanted to go separate ways in terms of business and therefore was going to refund the money back to Progressive. Which to date, 3/13/23, has still not happened. In addition, in his last response he claims to have voided the check he sent on 1/19/23 and reissued another. He did not provide any supporting documents to this claim. I appreciate your help in this matter and would like the information provided above to be included in my rejection statement to both HailPro Co., *********************** and the Better Business Bureau.

I would also like to respond to the last message sent by him on te 23rd of March, stating he is waiting for his accounting team to get verification of a voided check in order to reissue the check back to Progressive. I have asked multiple times how much longer this is going to take as the original check (according to ******) was sent in January. I am once again requesting proof of a voided check and reissue of another.

I took my Vehicle to Hailpro to get some autobody work done the owner of the company sent an estimate to my insurance company in the amount of 3,942,23 my insurance did Approved the claim and sent him a check with my name and the Auto body shop name on it and he Deposit the check into his bank account with out my authorization and also has not completed any bodywork on my vehicle and every time I try to get in contact with him to get a ************* for my vehicle to get into the shop he just informed me its next in line and I can ever get an exact dateBusiness Response

I went in to get work done on my vehicle that my insurance paid for and the only thing that got fixed was my window and got more damage to my vehicle than the pictures showing from my insurance the gentleman Nathan Evan does not return any phone calls and my car still has not gotten fixed.
